This property looks just like the pictures. There is plenty of room and easy access to pools, grocery and restaurants. I was able to walk to the convention center for business (I don't think it was even a mile). The Internet worked wonderfully as well as the cable TV. Everything I needed was there: extra blankets, pillows, dishtowels and even a few extras. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this to anyone who would be in Orlando for business or relaxation.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wish I had looked into this sooner. I travel to Orlando numerous times each year for business, mainly at the OCCC. This unit was well kept and convenient. I had some friends in for a couple of nights, before we started a golf vacation, and they liked it very much. We would consider these units for future golf trips.....the double beds are a drawback though. This particular unit was well maintained and provided everything I needed. Unlike others, I don't expect things to be in perfect, unused condition. Now that I know of these, I will not pay 2 or 3 times more to stay in a cramped hotel room near the Convention Center.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented through VBRO from 11 - 26 Feb 2013. While the condo was nice, in our opinion there are some things that were unacceptable. The ad stated the unit had wireless Internet. (The day I posted this review the advertisement still stated the unit has wireless access). When we arrived I inquired with the Vista Cay Management people and they informed me since we had rented directly from the owner it was his responsibility and they could not help us. I emailed the owner and his reply: “Sorry the Internet is down and I haven’t gotten it replaced yet. There is wireless access at the clubhouse.” The clubhouse is about a 15 minute walk there and back, not very convenient. Internet access was one of the important items we wanted as I operate a business. Our two grown daughters came for a week and they live on their iPhones. In addition we have elderly family members and friend we needed / wanted to stay in touch with. This does not include the charges that I will incur on my Blackberry for unnecessary roaming and data charges (still to be determined). I saw the Internet service provider a day or two later and asked him how long it would be from a request for service to actually having the service operational, he stated 2 – 3 days. If the owner cared, the service could have been easily been restored while we were there. My second request to the woner was about the living room lamp. It would not work, so I replaced the bulb (from a working light) and plugged the lamp into a wall plug that I knew worked. When I emailed the owner about the light, his reply was “Maybe a switch somewhere.” Obviously he did not even read my message (different bulb and different plug). The lack of a table lamp made it very difficult to read in the living room in the evening with one dim overhead light. Other issues/concerns Kitchen – no dish cloths, tea towels, dish soap, pot holders; there were dishes (two of the plates were cracked) and pots and pans. We did find salt and pepper, coffee filters and a few paper plates. Laundry – while the washer and dryer were fine there was no laundry soap Master bedroom – the light switch on the wall was broken and very flaky (and somewhat dangerous) to turn light on. Master bathroom – there was mold in the shower. We have rented condos the last 5 winters through VBRO and never experienced the issues we had with this one. We could not have found a place any nicer. It was close to all the restaurants, and shopping centers. We were there for a convention at the Orange County Convention Center, and it was very close and easy to get to. Had everything that we needed. The only thing that we would liked to have had would have been ceiling fans. We would recommed this to anyone that would like to stay at a place that feels like home. We will be booking again when we have to come back to Florida.Recommended for: Age 55+

My family and I stayed here for 14nights and absolutley loved it. Very spacious and has everything you need for a home from home. The location of the condo is directly across from the pool area and walking distance to Publix supermarket and a great pizza eatery (NYPD Pizza). I loved it so much that i wanted to book for Christmas but is fully booked. Me and my family will return to the property (if available).....Found Dan helpful in answering my questions and needs.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Recently returned from our trip. Went to both Universal Studios and Walt Disney World. Resort is easy to get to both places. Enjoyed the pool right across from the unit. Publix is just around the corner. Unit is clean and comfortable just like the pictures. We liked having a kitchen available for breakfast and the kids loved having their own bedroom. Second bathroom is nice when trying to get everyone out early in the morning. Nice location just off of Universal Drive. Gate code and unit key code were sent to us ahead of time, so no need to check in. Would definitely recommend staying here.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I could not have been happier with this condo. It was clean, roomy, and so conveniently located to universal parks. the owner was great to work with and the whole process was so smooth. Thank you to Dan and his family for letting us stay in their beautiful condo. Our family stayed for two weeks and we enjoyed everything about the location. The condo was clean and well-maintained; exactly as shown in pictures. We really liked that the condo was in a gated community, and all amenities were very close. My kids loved being across from the pool and it was wonderful that Disney was nearby. We would highly recommend their condo to anyone, and we hope if we ever get back to Florida, we'd be able to stay again. This trip was part business and part fun. We found our accomadations to be quite comfortable. Very roomy. The grounds were well kept also. The condo is conviently located to so much but we did need a car to get around. The pool and hot tub are just across the parking lot! Enjoyed that also. There is also a wonderful walking path behind the complex ... We had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future to this same condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We just stayed in this wonderful Condo. I can't say enough about how clean it was, how beautiful and spacious. Talk about close to everything, it is close to shopping, groceries, theme parks, restaurants. The walking path around the lake is a relaxful and peaceful walk. The pools are clean and a nice place to relax. I highly recommend this place, everything in the description is the truth. You know the old saying, you pay for what you get. This I can say is more than what I expected and paid for. Stay here if you want a remember-able vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for two weeks over Christmas vacation. The unit is very nice and as advertised, offering plenty of room even for a group of eight which we had. There is a small pool and hot tub just across the parking lot from this unit, and charcoal grills as well. The clubhouse is about a 5 minute walk, but was a bonus for our teenage boys. The management company was easy to work with. The unit's location could not have been better - we were within 5-15 minutes of every major theme park, shopping malls and restaurants, and there is a great Publix grocery right on the property. This is a ground floor unit, but was surprisingly quiet even with someone staying in the unit directly above. I like to cook and found the kitchen a bit sparse, but not an issue if you're going to eat out most of the time. You will also need to provide your own sundries such as bathroom tissue, paper towels, dish brush, dish clothes, garbage bags and any cleaning products you feel you need besides dishwasher soap. Overall, a great place to stay at a very good price!Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I just returned home after staying for & days in this beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. It is located on the first floor - so no need to haul your luggage up tons of stairs. There is plenty of parking; you could even walk to a Publix grocery store! The interior of the home is model home quality. The really have tried to provide everything you will need to enjoy your time away from home....in their wonderful home. Dealing with the Owner was an absolute delight - very easy going and friendly. This was my first experience with this website and can I tell you I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!! I would love to come again to your condo as well!!!! I loved it that much.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This condo is in a great location and right across from the pool. Inside was clean and up to date. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and everyone had their own bed. This house received us in an unforgetable way. We rather say it was our HOME for 12 days. Everything was the best way it could be and more. The owners had such a good taste decorating each room, including their personal touch in each corner, nothing was forgotten. We spent most of the last 20 years vacations in your country, but this was the first year to discover VRBO and we feel we have discovered a new way of enjoy vacations. We have just learned to enjoy vacations IN FAMILY, not in hotel rooms. This is our best discovery. If you want to spend special vacations, beutiful places to walk, relax, have incredible sightseing, everything in a very well located area, do not think twice, VISTA CAY is your place. The negative part of them is they are gone, but from now on we have learned there is no other way to enjoy our vacations but with all our family in a home like this one.Owner response: Thanks Carlo, glad your family had a good time hope to see you next year.
