"On The Rock" Is on the Rock! I call my cabin, "On the Rock"
My cabin sits on top of a big boulder right above the beach. If you were any closer to the water you'd be swimming.
There's a large picture window that faces out to the beach and the ocean, this window faces east-southeast. There's a really nice deck just to the side of the cabin. The deck is beautifully built into an outcropping of rock that is just outside your door.
The main room of the cabin has a built-in full-size bed built into the far corner of the room. This bed is set back a bit, from the rest of the living room. Then there's a separate bedroom also with a full-size bed. The bathroom is small and only has a shower.... this is a cabin.
My cabin sits over looking an incredible spot on the coast of Maine, I can promise you that.
And the ocean view picture that I have here shows only a small part of that view. My cabin has a large picture window that looks out to the ocean. So dream away.

- I now have a new and improved deck. I've built a new deck off the front of my cabin. So I now have about 250 sq. ft. of decking, and it's wonderful, and adds so much to the place!

I live in this area, I think it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. This cabin is a very special place to me. The beach my cabin sits on is really something special on the coast of Maine. It is a treasure to me, and if you come, I hope it is for you as well.

We rented "On the Rock" and were absolutely delighted. The cabin exceded the descriptions written by the owner. The charm of sitting on the deck and watching the ocean's tides and sunsets was amazing, peaceful, and unforgettable. The owner supplied ample accomodations and answered questions about the area with knowledge. We would highly recommend "On the Rock" to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway in mid-coast Maine.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
