A unique property in The Monterey Country Club, this unit is in a small, private park-like enclave with its own pool and hot tub just steps away. Because of its privacy, you and your family won't get bonked by a golf ball, or wakened at 6:45 AM by golfers prowling your patio for lost golf balls.
The unit was completely remodeled a few years ago into a creative floor plan which provides an open, airy great room with cathedral ceilings and an entertainment center. This room and the halls have beautiful 20" limestone-like paver tiles on the floor, extending out to the enlarged south facing patio which looks out on our "park."
We offer a den with a queen-size sleeper sofa and new mattress that becomes the 3rd bedroom if you need it. We have added high speed internet via Time-Warner and a new flat screen TV in the Master bedroom and the den..

About the owner: We're a fun-loving couple who travel extensively. We, our kids and their kids, truly enjoy the comfort and privacy of this home away from home. It has so much to offer nearby from desert trips to high-end shopping on famed El Paseo.
Why the Owner Chose Monterey Country Club:
We first bought in Monterey in 1984 because of all the clubs in the desert, it offered the best combination of superb location, outstanding owner care/maintenance and activities. It offers a brisk social life if you want it along with all the amenities you'd expect from a high-end club. We use the place ourselved a lot between April and December because it is such a relaxing getaway. Therefore, it's furnished and decorated for our own personal comfort. Hope you like our taste! MCC is close to outstanding dining, almost 30 cinema screens, the incredible College of the Desert Street Fair and the McCallum theatre, home to major traveling national company road shows and big name entertainers. We love it all.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We enjoy the privacy, relaxation and comfort this property provides. We had a unit on the golf course previously but didn't care for errant drives, early morning lawn mowers or golfers looking for balls on our patio. None of those problems here!
