This Beautiful Home is in an ideal location in Aptos overlooking the Rio Del Mar and Seacliff beach area. There are fabulous views from every level of the house, each with it's own private deck! The house also has a roof top deck complete with outdoor table & chairs and BBQ with wonderful views of the Ocean and Aptos. The house is just a short distance from both Rio del Mar & Seacliff State Park with it's famous wharf and cement ship.
Located near the beach, this large Home features a both a Master Bedroom and Master Suite, plus Guest Bedroom. The house has 3 full sized bathrooms plus a half bath and can accommodate groups up to 8-10 people. The home is large and has a fully furnished kitchen, lots of seating, Linens, Satellite TV Service, WiFi, Washer&Dryer, and Garage with additional driveway parking.
Just a short distance to the beautiful Forest of Nisene Marks State Park. The park offers rugged semi-wilderness, rising from sea level to steep coastal mountains of more than 2,600 feet. With over 30 miles of trails, hiking, jogging and biking along trails and streams and small waterfalls are some of the activities to be enjoyed here.
The home is within walking distance of some great local restaurants including Manuel’s Mexican Restaurant at the entrance to Seacliff State Beach. There is also a nice cafe next to Manuel's that serves delicious food with great menu selections and fabulous service. Be sure to check it out for any meal! Lots of other shops from small unique specialty shops to familiar stores like Safeway, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware are all within a mile of the home.
Located nearby is the older village of Aptos with its historic Bayview Hotel and Restaurant. Several restaurants from the English Pub, the Britannia Arms with its stone fireplaces, game room and frequent live music, The Sushi on the Run, which makes fresh Sushi to order or you can just grab freshly made favorites to go for a picnic at the nearby beaches.
We are centrally located and just a short distance from some famous areas and attractions. Capitola(next door) with it's famous food and shopping is just a few minutes from the house. Santa Cruz with it's famous Beach Boardwalk and Wharf is also a short drive. During your trip, you can also easily visit the Monterey Peninsula with such attractions as The Monterey Bay Aquarium, 17 Mile Drive, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf (and be there in less than 30 minutes). This area truly has it all and we look forward to having you as our guest.

Myself and 5 friends met for a 3 day weekend on our motorcycles. We rented this house and were very pleased. The house is in excellent condition and very clean. Joe is very easy to work with and seems like a very honest guy. I would recommend this house to any group in the 6-10 person range depending on how many beds you actually need. The garage worked out well to park our bikes in, instead of on the street somewhere. Since there were six of us, we needed 6 beds and this home had them. I spent a lot of time looking at rentals in the Santa Cruz area and could not find a better deal for what you get. You will not be disappointed. I would definitly rent this home again in the future. Oh, the rooftop deck has an awesome view.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We had a very enjoyable family getaway in Aptos. The home was roomy and comfortable. We could all gather in the family room or retreat for quiet time to each bedroom. My family and friends had a great stay at this vacation home. Easy to get to: The property is minutes from downtown Santa Cruz, but you feel a world away. Spacious: The property has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had ten (10) people, and there was more than enough space for us all. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The property has three full levels inside and a pretty rooftop area. The roof was a great place to watch the stars at night or relax with a cup of coffee in the morning. Close to the beach: The property is a ten minute walk (or a two minute drive) from the beach, at most. Clean: The owner takes excellent care of the property. It's very tidy--and I'm a bit of clean freak. It was perfect for us. Quiet: The property is peaceful and serene. There is very little auto traffic. This property is a wonderful getaway. I will definitely rent it again. The owner is a pleasure to rent from.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

Rented the house for my mom's 50th Birthday. Great location with a gorgeous view and easy walk to the beach. Plenty of room and a nice roof top area to BBQ and hang out. There are a lot of stairs so hard for elderly but other than that no complaints :) I would rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We picked the perfect weekend to spend in Aptos with the valley temps at 105. The house is just as pictured and Joe was great to work with. We really enjoyed the views from the decks. We would definitely book this home again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My company had an event going on in Aptos and we needed a place for our crew to stay for the weekend. We rented this house for 7 people and they had plenty of room to sleep. About the owner: We live in the Bay Area and bought this as a second home with the intention of enjoying it with family & friends. We love the area for it's beautiful beaches, small town charm, and great history.
Why the Owner Chose Aptos:
Aptos is a wonderful town with beautiful beaches and breathtaking scenery. We like that it is located near places such as Capitola and Santa Cruz, but away from the congestion. Monterey is also just a short drive away for those trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium or 17 mile drive. Walking distance to downtown, ocean & trails makes this a fun place to enjoy!
