Location: Brian Head, Utah, USA (Close to Parowan & Cedar City, 3hrs. Vegas, 7hrs. Orange Co)
Accommodations: Condo, Studio, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2)
Choosing Brian Head for a week or week-end getaway is fun! Brian Head has long been a hidden gem nestled in the mountains of southern Utah. It is a relaxed, friendly place with plenty of the same powder that has made Utah's northern areas famous. It's 9700 feet up at the base. 11,000 at the top. Great skiing and snowboarding for all levels and a tubing park that's a blast too! Summer is great for sightseeing, mountain-biking, fishing, and you name it. You'll love that this condo is on the ground level just steps from your car! Check it out...some accommodations out there are very nice but getting yourself (and your stuff!) up flights of stairs at altitude isn't any fun.
This small condo is loaded with amenities making it extremely comfortable for two people. We installed a nice flat screen, awesome king bed, and cushy reclining theater seating instead of a sofa or table/chairs etc. In the kitchen: a nice feature-laden microwave--most folks coming up cook with the microwave exclusively for the convenience. However, if you want to prepare a regular meal, the conventional oven will do the job nicely. We could have put in a sleeper sofa to increase capacity but found that sleeper sofas aren't really very comfortable as sofas or beds for that matter. We made the unit comfy for two...we've had a couple with a small child stay as well as a young mother with two small children...the unit's listed for two but if you have a small child that will sleep with you three is OK.
The unit has a full bath, cable, both DVD and VHS movies, an electric woodstove with remote that simulates flames and "crackling" for ambience without the mess of firewood. You'll be able to walk to the newest interconnect lift if you want and be able to access both Giant Steps and Navajo mountains without driving. Georg's ski shop is across the highway which is also convenient for ATV, ski, or bike rentals.

Why the Owner Chose Brian Head
It ain't Aspen! Brian Head is serene, un-crowded with great snow and an excellent location near many points of interest. Summer is gorgeous with streams and lakes all over with great fishing. Hiking is great too--I've seen wild turkeys, beavers, eagles and deer everywhere.
