Engelmann Pines was established in 1988 as a Bed & Breakfast and has now been converted to vacation rentals. We are located 5 miles from Winter Park Resort and the free shuttle stops 200 yards from the house to pick up skiers.
Engelmann Pines is suited for large groups such as ski clubs, family get-togethers, reunions, corporate retreats, wedding parties, etc. The house consists of 10 bedrooms - 3 king beds, 5 queen beds, and 2 with twin beds. There are fireplaces in 3 bedrooms as well as in 2 of the TV rooms. Most bathrooms have Jacuzzi tubs. It can also be divided into a 5 bedroom area, a 3 bedroom area and a 2 bedroom area, each with complete kitchen, TV room, washer/dryer, etc in each area. It is an 8,000 square foot house and has ample space for entertainment.
Engelmann Pines is a great place to enjoy the beauty of mountain living. The mountain views and incredible sunsets can be enjoyed from many rooms, decks and the outdoor hot tub. We are situated on a 3 acre property in Winter Park Ranch. Last summer a baby moose and a baby deer were born in our backyard. We are 40 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake where there are activities year round.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Winter Park Ranch
When we purchased our home in 1988 we were looking for a new career and we chose Winter Park to relocate to.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the Winter Park area for many reasons, but mostly because of all of the wonderful friends we have here. The climate is ideal - especially if you ski. Summers are my favorite time, the temperatures stay in the high 60s and low 70s, with low humidity. We enjoy hiking, and all of the outdoor activities that abound in the area.

I've stayed at Englemann Pines many times, both as a single person and with a group, when it was a B & B. The property is beautifully situated, has great views and is close to cross country ski and hiking trails. Good restaurants are nearby, and more within a few miles. I have recommended this to friends, and they were delighted with their visits.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Engelmann Pines. The flowers were all in bloom, and the wildlife and the scenery were wonderful. My artist friends and I came here to paint and the views from the rooms and decks were spectacular.

We rented this vacation home for a family vacation this past spring and had a lovely time. The house is very cozy - you feel right at home. The owners were very accommodating to our requests. The house is in a great location as well - just a short drive to the mountains and just an hour from Rocky Mountain National Park. We saw foxes, a family of deer and plenty of beautiful birds from our deck, as well as a lovely view of Byer's Peak.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
