This home was completely remodeled in 2008 with the finest of craftsman care and materials. It has a warm Whistler feel and is located in a great family neighborhood.
"Cozy Cedars" has 5 bedrooms and is bright with lovely views of Backcomb from the living/dining area and master bedroom. There are three bedrooms on the upper level with a Master en suite bathroom and another full bathroom set between the two bedrooms.
On the main floor we have a the front entry and a spacious living room/ dining room/ kitchen (known in Canada as an open plan or "the great room" ). it has a beautiful natural stone wood burning fireplace with a large TV over the mantle for watching the Olympics while you are preparing dinner or visiting in the living room. Adjacent, with a sliding pocket door for privacy when desired, there is a family room/media room with games/ puzzles area alcove and another stone fireplace with a large screen TV overhead.
On the ground level floor we have another entry; ski/coat closet ; a custom designed ski/board locker with shelving for helmets mitts, etc, glove dryer; oversized washer/ dryer, storage closet; pantry closet for extra food and beverage storage with second fridge; and off to the side two bedrooms and a bathroom. All appliances in the house are two years old.
The Whistler bus stop is a block and a half away. The Meadow Park recreational center is at the bottom of the hill complete with gyms, swimming pools and a ice skating rink, play ground, picnic area and soccer field. Miles and miles of Valley Trails for biking and cross country skiing lead from there. In the other direction from our house is a 5 minute drive to Rainbow Park and the beautiful lake for swimming, volley ball, kayaking, and enjoying the sunshine with a spectacular mountain backdrop.
Minimum 6 month lease, sorry no weekly rentals.
