This cabin is located in a very quiet, family oriented neighborhood with year-round access. The cabin sits on 1.25 acres and is at an elevation of 8,500 feet. There is an outdoor fire pit and plenty of room for family activities and enjoying nature. With the exception of the winter months, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, wild turkeys and many different species of birds are able to be seen on the property.
Within 30 miles of the cabin, you can visit Brianhead Ski Resort for skiing and snowboarding. Also within 30 miles are the majestic peaks of Cedar Breaks National Monument. Go a little further (45 miles) and you can experience Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.
Fishing is abundant on the mountain with Navajo Lake, Aspen Mirror Lake, Mammoth Creek, Duck Creek Pond, Panguitch Lake and Otter Creek Reservoir - all can be accessed anywhere from 5 miles to 20 miles from the cabin - depending on your fishing preference!
What you will find in the village of Duck Creek are many other activities such as ATV / snowmobile rentals, shopping, restaurants and many special events depending on the time of year and the weekend, such as concerts and local / visitor get-togethers.

DEPOSITS AND FEES: A $400.00 deposit fee is due at the time of booking to hold the dates (credit card required for deposit). Remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to arrival. If you cancel prior to 30 days in advance of arrival, you will receive a full refund on your deposit. If you cancel 15-30 prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded with the exception of a $175.00 processing fee. If you cancel within 15 days of arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.

With all of the pressures and temptations that our children are faced with daily through school and friends, we wanted a place to get away to on the weekends to help instill in them what family is about. Whether it is taking a walk, ATVing, snowmobiling, fishing or simply watching the deer feed out of your backyard, we are simply amazed at the solitude and serenity the area brings to our family year after year.

My husband and I visited the area about 6 years ago and knew that "one day" we wanted to plant our roots in Duck Creek. We acquired our home about 4 years ago and have been in love with everything the mountain has to offer ever since. Our children still talk about that first winter and sledding down "Redwood Road". And they have never forgotten the time we enjoyed our first summer thunderstorm out on the deck. By living in a big city, children miss out on so much that country living has to offer - the changing of the seasons, wildlife and the goodness that comes with knowing your neighbors. Duck Creek gives them that opportunity and we are forever grateful for finding this hidden treasure of the West.
