This wonderful cabin is perfect for a unique mountain getaway. Located 15 minutes outside the town of Eagle, Bamber Bridge Cabin is located on 7 acres on Salt Creek with Horse Mountain in the backyard. There is access to hiking and snowshoeing trails from the cabin.
The cabin itself has a spacious kitchen that is a pleasure to cook in. The screened in covered porch is the perfect place for meals and reading a book during the day. There is a wood burning stove in the living room that keeps you warm and cozy in the evenings. Sleeping arrangements include a king size bed in a room that feels like a tree house and a downstairs den with a queen futon. Outside, you can roast marshmallows in the fire pit, play horse shoes and wander down to the creek that runs through the property. The cabin is nestled in the oak trees overlooking the covered bridge that spans the creek. There is good fishing in nearby Sylvan Lake, Brush Creek, Eagle River and the Colorado River. Good horseback riding available in the valley.
The town of Eagle has everything you need - fun restaurants, groceries, movie theater, bowling alley, indoor ice rink, golf course, tennis courts. If you are a skier or boarder, Beaver Creek is 20 min and Vail is 30 min. You can also drive 45 min to Glenwood Springs to soak in the luxurious hot springs.
This is the ultimate cabin in the woods experience but with all the amenities and comforts of home.
