Situated at an elevation of 9,500 feet, you'll love the refreshing Rocky Mountain air as you take in the gorgeous scenery. Whether you are an avid nature lover or just ready for a break, you'll enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the wildlife and deer roam or just relax with some hot chocolate and a warm fire as you watch the snow gently fall outside. Every season on this mountain is spectacular. This modern mountain getaway comes fully equipped and is very family friendly. With a well stocked kitchen for the gourmet chef, all small appliances and utensils are available as well as an outdoor gas grill and fire-pit. We also have a wide selection of spices and condiments on hand.
The cabin also boasts of a great selection of reading books for all ages and a wide assortment of games and puzzles for everyone to enjoy. DVDs are available for all ages and we have 2 TVs and an IPOD docking station and WIFI. There are 3 queen size beds, 1 full size bed, 1 set of bunk beds, a crib and a pack 'n play. A complete inventory booklet is available to help with your vacation planning. Once you get here, you won't want to leave!!
We have 3 private fishing lakes in our community and you don't need a fishing license- just a guest card. There is also some great biking, hiking and four wheeling trails. In the summer, the community fire department puts on the best 4th of July picnic and it's a great time to make new friends. We just love to watch all the deer and wildlife freely roam and enjoy the beauty of nature!
Winter access is by snowmobile. You can snowshoe or cross country ski right from the front door. There are also some fun sledding hills near the cabin!

Why the Owner Chose Cimarron
We have lived in Colorado for over 30 years and always dreamed of having a place in the mountains. We first heard of the mountain community of Arrowhead 12 years ago and one summer day decided to take a ride up to visit. We instantly fell in love with this place. It is what you picture when you think of the Colorado mountains. We first bought land that we would bring our camper to, but kept looking for a cabin so we could enjoy all the seasons. Well, when this place popped up, we knew this was it! This is our home away from home and hopefully, it will be yours too!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We are within 15 miles of Blue Mesa Reservoir where the fishing and boating is great. Also, the beautiful Black Canyon National Park is 40 miles west towards Montrose and if you would like some fun shopping, take a ride to the quaint town of Lake City.

Our family loves this mountain getaway, it's our favorite place to be! This cabin has been perfect for family gatherings with sisters, brothers, cousins and it has also been the perfect getaway from the hustle of everyday life! We call this mountain our "LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN". Our grown children absolutely love to come with their friends and the grandbabies always ask when we can go again! Whatever the season, there is always something to enjoy on the mountain... fishing, hiking, four wheeling, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow shoeing or just relaxing and getting away from it all. We know you'll enjoy it as much as we do. You'll want to keep coming back!
