This charming home in a very quiet neighborhood is located at the end of a cul-de-sac on a peninsula. The home faces deepwater with a private dock and a sandbar that appears at low tide. The street side has a marsh view. The waterfront view features one of the most beautiful large Angel oak trees of the area, laden with Spanish moss.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened porch in a reclining chair or in the hot tub located just a stone's throw from the home's deepwater dock. At certain times of the year, you will see dolphins swimming the area.
If you bring your boat or waverunners, the neighborhood provides a private boat ramp. Enjoy a swim from our dock to the sandbar or catch a fish or two. If you prefer, catch some crab and shrimp. Bird watching is a favorite here. You'll see blue heron, egrets, seagulls and pelicans.
You'll find a quaint village of shops in downtown Beaufort only 15 minutes away. Spend the day shopping and then lunch at one of the many restaurants along the waterfront park. This 300-year old town is filled with antebellum mansions and moss-covered oaks. Horse-drawn buggie tours are available for those who wish to step back in time and experience the historic district.
Beaufort offers scenic beauty, southern hospitality and casual seaside charm. For those who love to golf, there are dozens in Beaufort County including those in Hilton Head forty miles away.

My wife and I vacation twice each year, using VRBO as our exclusive lodging resource. This property ranks at the top of all we have stayed at, and by a wide margin ! No detail, no matter how small, has been overlooked by the owner. We felt comfortable from the minute we walked in, and wanted for nothing the week we stayed. Its all here....world class shopping....historic sightseeing....wonderful food....my gosh, even a drive in movie that had us tripping down memory lane. As much as we have enjoyed all the properties we have stayed at over the years, this is the first one we plan to return to, and we hope soon ! Thanks for a great week ....Kim and Chris

I must say, it was wonderful. We visited Charleston, Savannah, Hunting Island and Hilton Head, as well as Beaufort. Each place unnique and beautiful! This home is very warm and inviting. We caught crabs off the warf. My favorite was the front porch swin in the evenings. A very memorable stay. God Bless.

it was our first stay at this gem of a home. From the location and beautiful grounds to the hot tub, video library, comfortable furniture, wonderful views, birds, squirrels, butterflies and even lightening bugs and the list goes on--Enjoyed some "fresh" crab cocktails from crabs caught from the dock with you great crabtrap. Your home is so much more than a place to sleep. We'll be back.

we hoped it would be and more. From the wine to all the festive decorations, we felt very welcomed. All the extra touches were noticed and well appreciated. This was our first visit to this area and we fell in love with it. It was the perfect place for us to stay allowing us to visit all the surrounding areas, like Hilton Head, Charleston, and Savannah. We look forward to our next stay.

We are snowbirds that have fallen in love with South Carolina, particularly the Beaufort area. We have been doing 3-4 month rentals for about 7 years. This was one of the best. Molly and Chris’s house is paradise. We have dogs and this was the perfect place. I walk them off leash and had lots of areas to explore. Safe neighbourhood. I met lots of people who would stop and chat while we were on walks. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable reclining chairs in the living room. The view out the front was as beautiful as the view out the back. On hot days there was always a breeze because of their location opposite a large wetland area out front and the big trees around the house kept us cool. Highly recommended.

This was our first experience at a vacation rental, we couldn't have asked for much more. The home was spotless, well equipped and included a cozy gas fireplace for the chilly evenings. We stayed the first two weeks in December and although it was late in the season we did see the dolphins out the livingroom window. The kitchen had all the utencils for your cooking and baking needs. Our hosts were very organized with literature of the surrounding area along with the specifics of the operation of the hot tube and wi fi. The king size bed was quite a surprise with the down comforters that made you feel like you were sleeping in a cloud. Beaufort has carriage rides through the historic district along with walking tours. If you have the time you can take in Hilton Head and Charleston which are only about an hour's drive in opposite directions. We hope to make this a regular resting place in the future.

My husband and I just spent a week at this cozy, clean, and comfortable home. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one really had it all for our New Years/Anniversary getaway! We wanted for nothing during our stay as the house is well furnished, equipped and stocked and the owners were a pleasure to work with. We were close to everything that Beaufort and the surrounding islands have to offer. The view, dock, and yard are beautiful and the hot tub was great! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Thanks again!
