This comfortable, charming island getaway is located on a beautiful bayou with Gulf access. Bring your own boat, and tie it to the new dock, or use the tandem kayak to explore the tropical preserve. The Island bike path is two houses away and a one half mile ride to Bowman's Beach and Blind Pass Beach. These beaches provide access with parking and public restrooms. Our cottage is one level on a quiet, private, shelled dead end road. The backyard, surrounded by tropical foliage, has a large deck that overlooks a hot tub and a new boat dock. The neighbors are all very friendly, and you are located close to the Ding Darling National Wildlife Sanctuary.
From the deck you can enter two of the three bedrooms or the living room. All the floors are tiled and accented with oriental rugs. The beautifully furnished living and dining rooms all feature white cottage shutters. The open floor plan adds to the spacious feeling created by the light from the many shuttered windows. The fully equipped kitchen awaits your first meal.
Bikes, beach chairs and grill are provided. There are three TV's, a DVD player, and internet service. We are pet and child friendly.
Pet Policy: Only well behaved, friendly housebroken pets are allowed. There is a $200 pet fee that will cover cleaning. The owner of the pet is responsible for all other damage. Please call ahead for approval for your pet. Remember that Sanibel has a leash law.
Child Policy: Naps in the afternoon and cookies and milk at bedtime encouraged for all.
Payment Policy: Twenty Percent Deposit Required, Balance due sixty days before rental. Refunds available only if notified sixty days before rental. Payment by check or money order.
