The most attractive aspect of this unit is not it's crisp, clean, tiled roomy, fully outfitted (cookware, utensils, linens, bedding, beachware) condition but the expansive & simple nature of the condo grounds. Being an older complex it did not suffer the overcrowded construction of more recent complexes in Fort Myers where 100s & 100s of units, line miles of roads, confusingly going to nowhere around artificial ponds, unused outbuildings & amenities crammed onto a few acres. At Martinique about 150 units lie comfortably on about 6 acres around a lovely small lake,. The result is either calm privacy or friendly neighborliness at pool, tennis or weekly socials. One can walk to church, shopping, Edison College & Mann Performing Arts CTR. Or just relax on lanai & pick a fresh orange or grapefruit from your trees below. Or bus to & from the airport and the beaches and saves bridge traffic & beach parking fees.

My brother & I live in Connecticut. I work in real estate & teach and live in an old farm house which I share with a cousin. I enjoy gardening & kayaking. My brother who lives nearby with his wife & 2 children works in manufacturing and raises his kids. Like many others here we were born in NYC but moved young to the old farming/suburbs as my parents got jobs here. We both are seeking ways for more leisure but till then we work. So my parents lovely unit is available for those who enjoy a quiet, west coast, winter break.
Why the Owner Chose Other Fort Myers Properties
For years my parents rented in the Bonita Beach. As they aged they wanted a place a closer to amenities, as the beaches got boring, so they bought this unit at a quiet end of FT Myers in the MacGregor Blvd area where many restaurants & shops exist. With easy access to stores, churches, health care if needed & The Barbara Mann Performing Arts Center, they moved in. Although my brother & I first thought we'd sell it when my parent's passed a few years ago we found it's equal convenience to the airport & Sanibel & Captiva Islands and other beaches as well as Macgregor Blvd restaurants & the Mann Theatre made it an ideal getaway. Although we can't use it much lately because of work demands we can sure share it with those seeking a quiet but convenient tropical time away till things change.
