Most attractive here is not the crisp, clean, tiled, roomy, fully outfitted (cookware, utensils, linens, bedding, beachware) condition of this unit but the recently refurbished & open simple nature of the condo grounds. Being an older complex it did not suffer the overcrowded construction of the more recent complexes in Fort Myers where 100s & 100s of units,are crammed onto a few acres lined with miles of confusing roads, going nowhere. . At Martinique about 150 units lie comfortably on about 6 acres around a lovely small lake. Consequently guests enjoy either calm privacy or friendly neighborliness at pool, tennis or weekly socials. One can walk to church, shopping, Edison College & Mann Performing Arts CTR. Or just relax on lanai & pick a fresh orange or grapefruit from your trees below. Or bus to & from the airport and the beaches to avoid bridge traffic & beach parking fees.

Year Purchased: 2005
My brother & I live in Connecticut. I work in real estate & teach and live in an old farm house which I share with a cousin. I enjoy gardening & kayaking. My brother who lives nearby with his wife & 2 children works in manufacturing and skiis. Like many others we were born in NYC but moved young to the old farming/suburbs as my parents got jobs here. We both are seeking ways for more leisure but till then we work. So my parents lovely unit is available for those who enjoy a quiet, west coast, winter break.
Why the Owner Chose Other Fort Myers Properties
For years my parents rented in the Bonita Beach. As they aged they wanted a place a closer to amenities, as the beaches got boring & crowded. They bought this unit at a quiet end of FT Myers in the MacGregor Blvd area where many restaurants & shops exist. With easy access to stores, churches, health care if needed & The Mann Theatre, they moved in. Although my brother & I first thought we'd sell it when my parent's passed a few years ago we found it's easy convenience to the airport & Sanibel & Captiva Islands as well asother beaches and Macgregor Blvd restaurants & the Mann Theatre made it an ideal getaway. Although we can't use it much now because of work demands we can sure share it with those seeking a quiet but convenient tropical time away till things change.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
After a year of driving & looking for parking everywhere doing errands at home I most appreciate the Comfortable bus system which takes me to the beaches & back without my having to drive,find a parking space & fight traffic. Also the shows at the Barbara Mann Theatre rival NYC shows I see during the year @ 1/3 the price & walking distance.

We have lived at this property for 3 months, and it was just great. it is central to every thing. We have enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very nice and very honest. Would stay here again.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
