Most attractive here is not the crisp, clean, tiled, roomy, 'turn key' condition but rather the , simple,friendly, unhurried, nature of the expansive owner managed grounds. Built prior to the overcrowded construction of the more recent complexes in Fort Myers where 100s of units & visitors, cram onto a few acres lined with busy miles of confusing lanes, going nowhere... . At 'Martinique' only about 150 units lie comfortably on 6 quiet acres surrounding a small lovely lake. Consequenly guests have their pick of a calm private lake walk or stroll around nearby Edison College's Campus or the friendly neighborliness of the pool, tennis or weekly socials. Great place to rent
We have lived at this property for 3 months, and it was just great. it is central to every thing. We have enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very nice and very honest. Would stay here again.

About the owner: My brother & I live in Connecticut where we work in real estate & manufacturing respectively. Like many others we were born in NYC but moved young to the old farming/suburbs as my parents got jobs here. We both are seeking ways for more leisure but till then we work. So this lovely unit which was found for my parent's leisure who are no longer with us is available for those who enjoy a quiet, west coast, winter break or longer.
Why the Owner Chose Other Fort Myers Properties:
For years my parents rented in the Bonita Beach. As they aged they wanted a place a closer to amenities, as the beaches got boring & crowded. They bought this unit at a quiet end of FT Myers in the MacGregor Blvd area where many restaurants & shops exist. With easy access to stores, churches, health care if needed & The Mann Theatre, they moved in. Although my brother & I first thought we'd sell it we found it's convenience to the airport & Sanibel & Captiva Islands Macgregor Blvd restaurants & the Mann Theatre made it an ideal getaway. Although we can't use it much now because of work demands we can sure share it with those seeking a quiet but convenient tropical time away till things change.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Beside access to the Red Sox & Twins winter games we most appreciate the comfortable bus system to the beaches that help us avoid the hassle of driving, searching & paying for limited beach parking. Also the shows at the Barbara Mann Theatre rival NYC shows I see during the year @ 1/3 the price & walking distance.
