Our condo is in the luxurious Ikal Living, an exclusive development in the dated community of Playacar in Mexico’s beautiful Mayan Riviera. Ikal Living is located in a closed cul-de-sac, offering privacy while providing access to all that Playa has to offer. Situated on the edge of the fairway of the beautiful and challenging Playacar Golf Course by world-renowned architect Robert von Hagge, the view from the condo is soothing.
Over 2,000 square feet- our condo is modern (built in 2007) and tastefully furnished. It is on the second floor of three. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms have a king bed and the third room is furnished with 2 double beds. Each bedroom has a spacious bathroom with a shower and finished in “Crema Maya” marble. The master bath has a separate tub along with the shower. The condo comes with two parking spots and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. In addition, there are two TVs in the condo with cable and DVD players: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric Italian stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher along with cooking utensils. There is a large and luminous living space overlooking the “cumaru” wood terrace, which has a heated and filtered private plunge pool (62 sp ft) for your enjoyment. The terrace overlooks the pool, accessible to Ikal residents and guests. The 2-lane, 25-meter long pool is heated, has a special children’s area, and is surrounded by lush gardens providing natural shade.
The location is ideal. It is only a 4 minute ride into Playa del Carmen, where there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops along 5th Avenue. Scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, deep sea fishing charters, sailing, golf, tennis, and spa retreats are all activities available in the area. Or if you want to explore beyond Playa: Tulum, Cozumel, Chichen-Itza, Xel-Ha, Coba, and Xcaret are all easy day trips.
Also, guests have access to the beach at Esencia Estate since it is managed by the same company as our condo. Esencia is about 25 minutes from Playacar, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. It has a semi-private, pristine white sand beach. Also at Esencia, are the gourmet restaurant “Sal y Fuego” and the magnificent “Aroma Spa”.
