Just returned from a week's stay and it was absolutely wonderful. The condo was perfect. We were two couples celebrating birthdays with a week at the beach. The location was excellent, within walking distance to Times Square with restaurants, shops and nightlife. We especially enjoyed Nervous Nellie's and Matanzas restaurants, both with good food and entertainment. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were a lovely addition to our stay and we enjoyed our time on the beach. The condo is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The only downside was lack of recycling. A good idea for the building would be to provide easy accessible recycling bins either on each floor or down at the bottom of the elevator by the parking lot. Just a suggestion. Thanks for a great holiday, we would definitely recommend this location to family and friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for the great review. We do try to please and accomodate our guest needs, down to the little details. The recycling program is currently being discussed by our board of directors. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

I've been vacationing with friends for years and we normally rent a hotel room. This year we decided to try a condo rental. What a great choice! Fully furnished, even with a washer and dryer! We've experienced that pictures online can be very deceiving. However, the pictures the condo owner posted are exact. No zooming in - they are all as they appear. I vacationed with 3 friends and 2 teenagers. The location to downtown was perfect, just up the beach/road. This allowed the teens to go off on their own to hang out where all the stores and entertainment was (I felt it was a very safe area/location). Once you got to downtown the beaches were packed. Luckily on our end there was plenty of space. The condo has the option of the beach or pool. The pool was so nice and refreshing (not cold at all, more like bathwater). However, because the bay is on one side and the ocean on the other, it causes a high wind that keeps the pool area cooler. This is good on hot days but we liked spending our time on the beach. The condo was equipped with chairs, an umbrella, cooler and even beach toys! We used all of them every day and were very thankful to have them. The sand there is very nice and easy to walk on with some nice whole shells. The condo is toward the tip of the island so was neat to walk to the end where there was a nice park and if you're lucky, to see a manatee! I also loved the pterodactyls! (huge pelicans) It was very entertaining to watch them circle over a the ocean, slam into the water and gulp a fish down. What was amazing was waking up every morning, sitting on the lanai, listening to the waves and watching the dolphins swim by. The inside of the condo was gorgeous and very clean. I can only dream of living in such a place. The colors of the walls, dishes, the decorations, even the books on the mantle were all themed for living on a beach/island. The slider for the lanai opened the whole width of the wall and we slept every night with it opened, listening to the waves. The beach was always active, even at night with people walking or in the water with flashlights looking for shells and who knows what else. Parking was very convenient - always parking spots available. If I had to come up with a negative, it would be the door to the condo. The bay is on one side and the ocean on the other. If the sliders were open(which was all the time), the door would be difficult to open. We'd for sure stay here again if we go back to Ft. Myers Beach area. Great Time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I vacationed here last August 2010. We absolutlely loved this place. It was very well kept. We thought the condo was nicely decorated and had nice size televisions :). It was nice that they already have beach chairs, cooler and toys all ready for you use (stored in one of the closets) so you didn't have to go buy any. We also appreciated the "guest book" that the owners keep. It is very helpful as they recommend what places to go to. The condo is also a great location as you can easily rent jet ski's , boats, etc at a location right next door. It is a very nice beach. My sister and I enjoyed looking for sea shells and sand dollars.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

Just returned from our "staycation" at Ft. Myers Beach and couldn't be more pleased with the accomodations. We felt so comfortable in this tastefully decorated condo and spent many relaxing hours on the lanai drinking coffee, drinking wine, or just drinking in the gorgeous views from all sides. We especially enjoyed the bonus of being able to see both the bay from one side and the gulf from the other. The location is perfect; close enough to walk to the action (several great restaurants and fun hangouts), but far enough away to enjoy the quiet beach in front of the condo. I'm not sure the pictures on this site do it justice; truly a little slice of paradise!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What we loved the most about this condo was that there were beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler all there for our use! That really helped, the condo is very well furnished with everything you can imagine. The only thing was that the sliding door on the bathroom and the balcony really need to be oiled or something, they were a little hard to open. The elevators also had very poor ventilation or should I say none at all. It was well over 90 degrees and when you get in with a bunch of people all carrying their beach things it was hard to breath. Other then that great place! And they are putting in a hot tub, but even so it would of been way to hot to even use it.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: The sliders were repaired with all new rollers and work really well. The sand and salt create some issues with metal products. The elevator is a open air elevator and exposed to the outdoor temperature, especially during the hot months. It would be impossible to air condition and keep any cold air inside because they open to the lower parking area.

If you are looking for a vacation getaway that is laid-back and quiet, this is the place for you. The beaches are very clean compared to the upper gulf and also much less crowded. There are several other beaches to check out including Sanibel and Captiva. The condo is very well described in Jim's add and is very neat and has everything you need for a perfect vacation getaway. The condo is a short walk away from downtown Fort Myers Beach where there are several shops for any of your beachwear needs and several good restaurants to choose from. There are also several tourist locations to visit in this area. Just pick up a tourism guide at any business and they are listed in there. Overall, we highly recommend this condo for anyone visiting the Fort Myers Beach area. We will be going back! Check it out and enjoy!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.
