  Even though we arrived in the middle of an historic blizzard in the northeast (Nemo), Amy took great care of us, calling to check in on us and making sure the driveway was plowed. We were safe and warm in the large, yet cozy house, and spent much of the storm night in the hottub outside :). The skiing was great and close by, and we had a really fantastic time. We highly recommend this place to other large groups looking for a nice getaway in the VT mountains!

  Awesome house! Clean, comfortable, spacious and amenities galore. This is the second consecutive year that we've stayed at the lodge. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. There is a lot of firewood with two beautiful fireplaces and a wood stove. The hot-tub, showers and bathrooms are clean and new. The beds and linens are clean & comfortable with plenty of room our 6 couples with 7+ kids. The Layout is an open floor plan, spacious enough for the kids to play upstairs while the adults are down. There is enough distance between common area and bedrooms so the kids can sleep while the adults enjoy a late night of pool, shuffleboard, hot-tubbing or boardgames. It's close to Ludlow/Okemo and only a short drive (:25 min) to Killington SkyeShip. We enjoyed sledding on the property as well as snowshoeing and XC skiing out the backdoor on the Vast Trail. The perfect house for multiple families or a family reunion. We love it and plan to stay every year for years to come.

  Gray's Summit Lodge is a great house for a family ski trip. We were 16 people (including 7 little ones under the age of 10) under one roof for five nights. It was great!!!! The house is very spacious with multiple lovely sitting areas so it is very comfortable for the adults to have a quiet area away from the children. The large open kitchen layout made meal preparation for the group easy. Since we keep kosher, we prepared and ate all our meals in the house and had no trouble with several of us working in the kitchen at the same time. The second full refrigerator in the bar area on the lower level was also a huge benefir to us since we bring a lot of prepared food with us. The long beautiful dining table was also great that it was able to seat all 16 of us with no problem!!! The jacuzzi hot tub was one of the best we have used in years. It is right out of the door on the lower bar/game room level of the house. In fact, there is an overhang outside that protects you before getting into the tub. Makes it easy to go out on those cold nights!!! The bedroom layout worked out well since most of the rooms had multiple bedding options and all had comfy mattresses. We even were able to move a mattress from one room to another when all the little ones wanted to sleep in one room!!! It was nice having a wood fireplace since many rental places only have gas ones. In fact there are two fireplaces in the house....one in each of the sitting rooms. The lower level sitting area has a full size pool table, wii, and a shuffleboard table. Great entertainment area for the children. Both sitting areas have large flat screen tv's. What is nice about the property is that if you need more room for a larger crowd, a second smaller home is about 50 feet away and can also be rented together with Gray's Summit House. This gives you additional bedroooms, bathrooms, sitting areas and kitchen. Although it's location is in Mt. Holly, it is only about 10 minutes drive to Okemo mountain. The house is situated on a dirt road about 3/4 of a mile off the main road. It is very easy to get to and from the mountain. The property was clean and well maintained and it was easy to communicate with the owners, especially if any problems arose while you were there. We all had a great time together at this house and hope to return again next year.

  the gray's summit lodge and property is amazing. working with the owners (amy) was perfect. they were accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional. the house itself is incredible. it's everything you could want in a vermont escape during any season of the year. upon arrival, everything was immaculate, very well cared for, and there were instructions for everything we might need over our stay. the interior is huge and spacious. there is plenty of room for several families to have a great time. between the hot tub, the fireplace, the nearby trails and the shuffle board, we had an awesome weekend. i would recommend this property to anyone in a heartbeat and will likely return ourselves.

  We stayed here with a large group over 30 people (utilizing the 2nd house on the property), and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Everyone commented on how great the set up was, how fun the game room was, including the hot tub, the stereo system, the shuffle board and pool table. There was more than enough room to cook food and eat in groups upstairs, and the sleeping accommodations were great as well! Its only 10-15 minutes away from Okemo Ski Resort too. We hope to return next Winter!

  We had our 4 family vacation here in July 2010. We had everything from seniors to 3 year olds. This place was charming with something for everyone. We found the owners very easy to work with and extremely responsive, including checking in on us when we first arrived. We will certainly recommend this warm, spacious home away from home. We made good memories there!

  We rent the house the second week of aug we had 10 adults and 6 kids and we had and awsome time, from the owners being very helpful to the place being fully stocked and plenty of room to spread out and very clean The pool was great and the hot tub was also great. We have rented the other property that is owned by the same owner and would recommend both houses to anyone. There is a second house on this property but we didn't need it, i was able to take a tour of it and it was also very nice. Hope we can return next year. thanks again we letting us use your wonderful home.

  What a great place!! the pictures do not do it justice! We went a month ago with our youth group. It was great. Amy as always is wonderful to deal with. Checking to make sure we got there and that everything was ok. That meant alot we hope to rent again!! thanks AMY It was nice to be able to have a place that the kids could have fun and not worry about them. We didn't even have to leave the house but there were nice concerts at the Okemo Mountain. this is a great palce I am so glad we found this.

  The description of this house is perfect. The house is very, very clean and well stocked with everything needed. Everything was well maintained and modern, yet rustic and cozy. The owners were wonderful to work with, always returned phone call or emails while making the arrangements. The owners have worked very hard to make this place such a gem. We had a family of 28 people there for the weekend. We rented both houses on the property because of our large group. Everyone was very comfortable and no one needed an air bed. The huge dining room table was great for us to gather for meals. The recreation room with bar, pool table and shuffle board table was fablous. We had a great time at this house and plan to go back again next year. Our ages ranged from infants to grandparents and everyone enjoyed.

  Stayed at Grays Summit Lodge for a long weekend with my large extended family with parents and nieces and nepews as well. In total we had 15 people. The house has 6 rooms ranging from medium size to large rooms with plenty of space and beds with many to spare. Each family was able to have their own room and we didn't even need to use the optional 7th room. In fact many of the beds in each room were left unused. House was very large, much larger than the front picture leads you to believe. Very clean as well. Kitchen was well stocked with needed items. The main floor had an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen and dining area which was terrific for everyone to be all in the same place but not crowded. Downstairs had a lot to offer as well with the bar, pool table, card table, hot tub and more. The room was very big downstairs. Great feature was that we were able to take the kids sledding right there on the driveway of the property. They had so much fun. Its a quick and easy 5 mile drive to Jackson Gore. And the drive up from the NYC area was an easy 4 hours. I would rent this house again next year as well. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. Ask them anything and they are more than happy and quick to respond.
