We stayed in Vertical Drop over New year 2009/10 and it was really nice. The place does not look too big on the picture but in reality it is big , clean and cozy. We could bring our dog after agreeing with the owner and we had very good experience overall KaterinaRecommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you Katerina! Suzanne

I had the pleasure of staying here for four days while skiing in Kilington. The house was absolutely fantastic and much bigger than I expected. The decorations make the house very homely and a great skiing touch. While the idea of a wood stove was daunting at first, it was rather fun to do in the mornings and proved rather simple. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice quaint weekend in Vermont.Owner response: Thanks and I'm glad you and your friends had a fun time in Killington!

Our family of 5 (Mom, Dad, 14, 13 & 10) and dog really enjoyed Vertical Drop! The house was well equipped with everything we needed, there was plenty of household supplies, blankets, firewood & even a propane barbecue to use! Skiing was so close by that we could come home for lunch and after skiing what better way to relax than soothing our muscles in the hot tub and then unwinding in the sauna?? We loved it at Vertical Drop, we had a little trouble with the internet but the owners were so helpful and available when we needed them. We give Vertical Drop an A++++ and look forward to coming back in the summer and enjoy summertime fun in Vermont! Thank you for letting us enjoy your fantastic home!!!Owner response: Thank you so much for your great review! I am so glad you and your family enjoyed yourselves. These great family "together" moments will always be remembered. Summers in Killington are wonderful as well - lots to do! Thank-you! Suzanne

We've had a great time visiting - twice now! It's the perfect ski house - wood-burning stove, hot tub and sauna, and really comfy couch! It's cozy, very homey, well kept and clean. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan to cook, and the location is great, not too far from the mountain. Thanks!Owner response: Thanks so much for your great review of Vertical Drop!

Over the summer my friends and I rented the house for a weekend, and we were very pleasantly suprised. The hot tub was very clean and worked perfectly, the setting was beautiful, and we were close to many parks, tennis, golf and of course the mountain. The linens were clean, there was pleanty of hot water, and the deck was great. We will no doubt be signing up again to use this house for ski season!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank-You! I hope you and your friends will come up this winter!

I had the pleasure of staying @ the Vertical Drop for 3 months through the winter into the early spring. The pics on the site do not really do the house justice - it is absolutely beautiful. The couch is the most comfortable couch I have ever been on! The plasma TV is in high def. The hot tub is amazing. Vertical Drop is very spacious & spread out with alot of sleeping options & plenty of bathrooms. The home is located in a cul de sac in a quiet neighborhood right near the Grey Bonnet Restaurant on 100S 1/2 mile from the Rt 4 junction & the Killington Access Road. There is a ton of bars/restaurants on the Access road & a great deli/market right near the house. The landlord was a pleasure to work with & was very responsive. I highly recommend it - any season, b/c of its great location.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
