Heritage Palms community broke ground in 1999 and completed in 2006, featuring two Azinger/Lewis designed championship golf courses considered among the best in Southwest Florida. We rented this unit for six months and have enjoyed it immensely. Very spacious and comfortable. The location and condo are wonderful. The description is accurate as are the photos. The property is very cleaned and well maintained. The unit is well equipped with anything a renter would need. As well, the owners are very quick to respond to any additional needs that renters may have. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. Activities within Heritage Palms are numerous as are those within Fort Myers. It's been a wonderful stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+.

Totally perfect facilicity's. ''''''''''''''''attractive maintained grounds with steller gulf course. Located close to many atteactions, resturants, and the beach. The living accomenations were all inclusive. Decor was attractive, condo was well equipped, and very clean. Perfect for family and friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

we enjoyed the wonderful condo and surroundings. the condo was well maintained and well located in the Heritage Palms. We very enjoyed the view on the golf course and playing both courses was indeed very pleasant. All in all a very nice vacation and we hope to come back.Recommended for: Age 55+.

About the owner: Dear Potential Renter, We are a family of 3 who purchased a beautiful condo in a golf course community about 9 years ago to provide extended family access to a great 'mom', who has lived in Florida (part time) for the last 30 years, and purchased in Heritage Palms upon the passing of a wonderful 'dad'. Each Christmas, our clan would migrate to Florida to celebrate the holidays, and our place provided the extra space needed to accommodate the crew. Due to age and access issues, Mom recently made a permanent move back north, selling her beautiful home in paradise. Our place has rented for the 'snow bird' months regularly through word of mouth and personal contacts when Mom was there, but without that contact, we are now listing it on VRBO. I am an accountant, my husband a pilot for a major airline. We are 'late bloomers', and have our miracle child who just turned 9 this summer. With the addition of our beautiful son, and his new school schedule, our access to the Florida Condo is VERY LIMITED! To justify owning the place until future schedules will permit more time there, we look to rent it out at least peak season. Hope you take the time to check it out. We painstakingly decorated and stocked the place in an attempt to meet every need, and continually find 'must have' items each time we stay (last time we realized the need for a pizza cutter!!) The great location within the plan (walking distance to the clubhouse/golf and fantastic dinners!), the amenities at Heritage Palms and the easy access to the airport, parks and beach make this a true haven when escaping the cold winter months up north!
Why the Owner Chose Heritage Palms:
As per my personal note, we chose Ft Myers because my mother-in-law, who lived in Florida 30 years and spent 5 years looking for the perfect location picked Heritage Palms. Her interest was simple - golf, golf, and more golf. For us, the close proximity to her, as well as the close proximity to the airport, along with the caliber of the plan made our investment choice a simple one.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We enjoy the golfing, the fitness center, the options in pools (the lodge has a tiki bar with food and drinks, the clubhouse is more sedate) dining at the club and the array of restaurants close by, the play ground (one of us would vote that in) and the size of the plan for running/roller blading/biking. There ARE benefits to having a gated community! We also appreciate that the plan is across from a preserve, limiting traffic entering and leaving. A park (Lakes Park) is 5 miles down the road, and it has a train to ride, 2 water play areas, a TON of rentals (have you ever heard of 8 person bikes???). We have also done some manatee visiting on kayaks. Always fit in a day or two at the beach - a privilege for those who migrate from Pennsylvania.
