This attractive and nicely furnished log home is centrally located in historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina; convenient to shopping in Blowing Rock, skiing in Banner Elk, and other attractions around the beautiful Boone, NC area.
With three bedrooms (King, Queen, 2 twins,and twin daybed with trundle-sleeps 2(loft)), two and a half baths and loft area, this cabin will be a favorite of every guest. Large covered porches and wrap-around deck - a great place to kick back, cook-out, and enjoy the mountain views. Don’t forget to relax in the hot tub... it has a private location off the deck.
Enjoy the views from the many large windows in the open and spacious great room and kitchen. The great room includes a large stone fireplace. The master bedroom is on the main floor with a private bath, 2 bedrooms upstairs with full bath and a twin trundle bed in the loft.
Legends cabin is just a few miles from the heart of Valle Crucis. It is situated in a beautiful cabin community with large semi private lots. Legends cabin has been a rental cabin for more than 6 years and enjoyed by many guests during that time. Decorated with a theme of NC High Country and American Legends we continue to update and maintain our cabin with new carpet, furniture, bedding, pots and pans, anything we find is needed or adds to our theme. We enjoy the many positive comments that we receive from our guests; if we cannot be there ourselves we want it to be completely enjoyed by others.
Come spend time at Legends cabin and while you are in the Valle Crucis area check out the nearby attractions. The Valle Community Park has a paved walking trail that runs along the Watauga River, picnic tables, playground equipment and spacious fields for playing games. This park is located behind the Annex and just down the road from the original Mast Store. Of course the Mast Store and Annex are a must while in the area. There are several Stables with Trail Rides in the area and historic sites like The Episcopal Mission and St. Johns Church.
While most of our guests come for a weekend or week we are open to longer rental periods during certain times of the year and are happy to discuss those options. The high country is a great location to explore, train for a bike race, write a book, or gather for a family reunion.
