This was a great vacation house. I would definitely recommend this property to stay. It was clean and most of everything that was needed for sleeping, cooking etc.. was provided. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the trendy Glebe area and two minute walk to the canal.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Had a great time with all 8 of us hockey lovin' girls. Nice location to skate the canal (5 mins walk). You don't even need a vehicle if the canal skateway is open. You could skate to downtown in a short time. The house was well appointed with a huge kitchen with dishwasher. Livingroom with entertainment galore. Slept all 8 of us comfortably, but the pullout (as is inherent to pullouts) was not the most comfortable. All other beds exceptionally clean & comfortable .I would imagine the fenced in yard would be great in the summer with BBQ facilities available. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet and easy to get to. Our only issue was the shower where it was very difficult to keep the water at a constant temperature, might just need a service. Needless to say no long showers. We would highly recommend this property especially if you are travelling with a group. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Came to Ottawa from the States to museum hop. House is in nice area and is a large double. Designed for a family vacation in mind. Buy the museum pass on your first day (google it) and go from there. You will drive to the museums etc but parking was no issue. Canada has an amazing museum system. Pretty city and the peole were engaging and polite. Great ethnic food. City is not expensive in the sense that NY or Bostyon can be... The rental has stairs (if small kids/toddlers consider a baby gate) but was no issue for us. Over 4 years old and no worries at all. Wifi, cable etc in the rental so you can stay on top of the area maps etc. The owners were responsive. I would recommmend the City and this rental to folks wanting to see a beautiful area of North America.

Great location and plenty of room for two adult couples. Michelle is very organized and a pleasure to deal with for the arrangements. Stairs may be a challenge for seniors or disabled as washroom and bedrooms are up.

We picked this rental for its great location close to the canal - to enjoy some amazing ice skating! The house met all our expectations. Quiet and charming neighbourhood, very well-maintained and welcoming house. We found nice shops and restaurants on Bank Street, at walking distance from the rental. The owners were very nice, helpful and close by (next door!)... and yet very discrete.
