  I had a great time spending a ski weekend at this property. It is right against the lake for beautiful morning sunrises and the interior is equally as stunning. The property owners were very upfront with their communication and everything surpassed my expectations. We comfortably slept 10 people in the space and it was only 10 minutes from Devils Head Resort. I can't think of anything that I would change. Truly a magical weekend! I will be returning later this year!

  We stayed at the home for a New Year's Celebration with skiing and fun. The home was perfectly managed and maintained. It's 10 minutes from Devils Head and 20 minutes from Cascade Mountain. Thank you for opening the door to us.

  We used the luxury cabin for a long weekend with several friends. The view of Lake WI is incredible and the amentities are endless with the great kitchen, tons of space and great bar on the lower level. If visiting for any length, you must have lunch at the Ferry Crossing in town, great food!

  Our family of 5 (mom, dad, 3 boys from 10-22) had a terrific weekend in mid-July at this home! The house is bigger than the pics indicate, and overall the photos do not come close to doing justice to the home; this is an executive-level home; granite and stainless everywhere; everything seems new. It also has a a brilliant layout that results in many places to get together, but also lots of closed doors behind which you can put your stuff. We didn't see our sons dirty laundry all weekend! What makes this home very nice is that each level has its own full bath and private bedroom, and each level could accomodate more sleepers on couches/pull-outs. Main level has master br suite, complete with jacuzzi tub. Overall, the layout is perfect for a family to spread out or to share time together at dinner table, on deck, or downstairs in bar/gameroom. Beds are very comfy, ceiling fans add to the nice feel. Main level has kitchen, eating area, and family room with fireplace with sliding doors to the deck. Kitchen is spacious, complete with all the amenities. Deck with wonderful lake views has table/chairs and new weber stainless gas grill which was nice and easy to use. There is also washer/dryer in hallway leading to garage. Loft has open area with tv/couch, and private area with bed/bathroom. We found it was the perfect place for our teenager... The lower level sports a very comfy bar (w/ beverage fridge) that seats 5 or 6, a high-top table for 4, pull out couch, board games, and huge tv; it's a great place to gather, talk, and relax. The lawn is small and so the house is very close to the lake in back and street in front. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the ferry launch, where there's a great little place to get ice cream in the summer, and the home is just a few miles from Devil's Lake State Park. The home also has wireless, so you can stay connected. We would definitely return to this wonderful home.

  A handful of friends and I stayed here for the weekend while we skied at Devil's Head. We were so impressed by the architecture and decor of the house. The house is huge, and its well-maintained and clean. The owner kept in constant contact with us, and would respond in less than 24 hours if I emailed him. The rental rate is fair. Best part is its super close to Devil's Head. We'll definitely be back!

  My family rented this house to celebrate New Year’s 2010 together. We rent a house every year in the Merrimac area so we can go to Devil's head and Sundara Spa. This house is by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL and well kept home we have rented in the WI area. We can't wait for next year’s Ski/Spa Vacation in this home. Thank you!!!
