Our home is in a quiet neighborhood, as Butternut Lane ends at acres of fields and woods. There is a seasonal screened porch, small front porch, surrounding stone walls and gardens, privacy and lots of sunlight.
The kitchen has been renovated, with a Wolf range, Bosch dishwasher, center breakfast/prep island, and Vermont granite countertops. A French door leads from the kitchen to the sun porch.
Three bedrooms and two full baths are upstairs; a full bath, dining room, eat-in kitchen with woodstove, living room and den for extra sleeping are downstairs.

Why the Owner Chose Woodstock
Woodstock, Vermont is my favorite place in the world! I have lived there for 15 years, raised my three sons in the village, and return frequently to hike, garden, snowboard or snowshoe, and enjoy time with my family and friends. Every season is breathtaking to me, creating new life and renewed energy as the weather changes. Our home in Taftsville hamlet, three miles from Woodstock village, is warm and peaceful. When there I renew my spirit, and fall in love again with the beauty that surrounds me.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Working in the gardens, reading on the sun porch, resting in the hammock, hiking or snowshoeing in the fields behind the house, visiting my neighbors and friends, wading or swimming in the river, or chatting with Charlie at the general store---every day is a good day!

I have had a home in Woodstock for almost 20 years! My husband and I travel there frequently to see family and friends and enjoy the seasons. Our children are grown, living in New Hampshire and California. My husband is a dentist practicing in Monterey, California. I am a Nurse Practitioner, currently practicing at a homeless shelter, and directing a nursing program at a nearby college. We love our time together, whether traveling, gardening, reading, or just spending time at home with our yellow lab "Bear", and cat "Bert". The best time is any time with our children, family and friends!
