This was our 2nd annual visit to Roadside Marker and we just loved it! In fact we loved the cabin and Saugatuck area so much that we brought friends with us this year. We traveled with our 14 & 12 year olds kids and they just love it there! In spite of the bad weather we still had a blast. We dined at Salt of the Earth (awesome), Marro's, Wally's and Su Casa (awful). We went on the dunes ride, hiked in the nearby dunes park, went to the Art Barn, shopped in Douglas/Saugatuck and enjoyed the very beautiful and comfortable cabin. The pictures of the cabin are just how the place is: clean and comfortably accommodates 8 people. The neighborhood is well-maintained and we love how quiet and private the area is. The back screened in porch is great to hang out in nature, the hot tub...oh so relaxing, and the beds are very comfy! Thank you Dorothy and family for sharing your lovely cabin with us. You are so wonderful to work with and we can't wait to come again soon!

The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. The owner was very kind and helpful in answering any questions we had. The furniture was really comfortable to kick back on and relax. We had a very relaxing stay here.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend in this home. We had a fire going everyday and found it hard to leave this cozy cabin. We did venture out to downtown Saugatuck on Saturday afternoon to eat lunch and to check out the cute little shops in town. We had a great time and Dorothy was great to work with.

We were more than pleased with the cabin..the Diva's were in their element!! The cabin was clean and inviting-exactly like the pictures...but add a nice fire (they had starter blocks and wood ready to go!) and Martini's...it was hard to leave the place to shop. The shopping was very convenient (once we pulled ourselves away). We did the Grandville Mall, but especially loved the "downtown" shopping in Saugatuck. It was quaint and festive, a nice change from the mad rush of a mall. We did less shopping and more relaxing and bonding just because the cabin had that aura about it....we loved EVERYTHING about it. This is the 20+ year these Diva's have enjoyed a shopping weekend together, and have stayed in many places, but this cabin has been the best by far. Dorothy has been a pleasure to work with and we plan to rent it again next year! Just doesnt get any better!!!

A pack of womenfriends recently enjoyed this very comfortable cottage. The accommodations were great -- easy, cozy, open. We had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in Saugatuck. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly!

Our family found a wonderful Christmas cabin 5 minutes down the road from home! This cabin was beautiful, warm and cozy, and highly relaxing...everything we were hoping for and more! A family getaway, a girls' weekend, or a romantic hideaway - this Saugatuck cabin is just the place for it all! You won't be disappointed - highly recommended! :)

Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay! We all love this cabin on Lilypad Lane - the kids adore the loft and "log cabin" feel, as well as the pool and hot tub. We also really like the boardwalk to the dock and caught a fish ourselves, too! It is nice and private here, which the adults enjoy. Saugatuck, Holland and Douglas are all great towns for shipping and eating...especially the ice cream. We visited both Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes - the loved walk through the woods to get to the lake. Hope to be back next summer!

Lovely get away from the city, peaceful, serene, and tucked into the woods. We had a group of girls and with the size and layout of the place not to mention the hot tub on the back deck! We never had to be on top of each other. It’s a short drive out of the city. Recharge!

We weren't actually sure of what to expect; the exterior and promotional interior shots were charming, but when we walked in the door, the place really knocked our socks off!! The layout was really spacious; the beds comfortable, the fireplace and hot tub easy to use and lovely amenities, and the proximity and ease to Saugatauk were all as advertised. There was even a large flat screen TV which my husband, the news junkie, loved. There were places to walk, including a path by the lake, and you haven't lived till you use a hot tub in the cold. Super fun! We loved our stay in every way. Highest recommendation!!!

I had the chance to spend a fabulous girls weekend at this cottage in the middle of winter! The snow was beautiful, the fireplace cozy, and the in cottage movie night on comfey couches was relaxing. The next day's visit to a nearby spa followed by a long soak in the hottub was perfect cottage pampering. I loved this place!

I spent a lovely winter weekend at this beautiful log home. The roaring fire, peaceful views out every window, the amazing hot tub...it was magic and restorative. The best thing? The quiet. If you're looking for a rustic-without-roughing-it getaway, this is the place for you. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is top notch, and your every need has been anticipated by the owners, from wine glasses to a washer/dryer. You're in a cabin made of wood, where you sleep in a bed crafted of logs -- it's like being in the woods you see out every window, yet you're in the lap of luxury. I highly recommend this woodland nirvana.

Kingfisher Cove # 17 is devine. This cabin is wonderful anytime of the year, although the winter months are my favorite. Warm. Inviting. Five Star. Best amenities for the price. Cannot wait for New Year's Eve.

The perfect Labor Day get-away! This home is fabulous, and the perfect retreat for five maxed out worker bees from the city! We loved every minute of being here and are already planning our next trip back to Saugatuck and Roadside Marker!

My band and I performed a concert at the Saugautuck Center for the Arts on May 2nd, then came to this cabin to stay. Absolutely an incredible topper to an already perfect night. We had a full house, great and amazing audience and the weather rocked - sun even came out! This cabin is beautiful, homey, clean and special! Thank you - we loved it!

My husband could not have chosen a better vacation home for our family and friends to enjoy. Our boys thought the cabin was the "coolest" place they have ever stayed. We so enjoyed the pool as it was very hot this week. We also loved the hot tub - especially after climbing Mt. Baldhead! The kids loved the nightly fires, smores and the big TV in the loft. We also made several visits to the dock where we found the fishing was amazing! We caught so many fish we lost count. Nothing beats the priceless look on our nine-year-olds face when he caught his first big fish - a 3lb catfish. Not only did we enjoy the cabin, we loved Saugatuck too! The food was amazing as well as the shopping. The Dune Rides and the Keetawin ship tour were favorites.

We had a good time on vacation; would have been great if the weather had been a bit better. The cloudy, rainy days were made enjoyable by the comfortable house - two jigsaw puzzles in a week passed the hours - Enjoyed the hot tub immensely. Look forward to returning in the future.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. We loved our first say in Saugatuck - great places to eat and shop. Oval Beach was spectacular, great fun on the dune rides, Star Cruises, etc. You put such special attention to detail into your home - beautifully decorated - it made our stay here that much more enjoyable!
