sitges is about 35 miles south of barcelona and is easy to get to. it probably has one of the best train services,trains run about every 20 minutes, the trip takes about 25 minutes, and it is cheap.
Sitges hasn’t been spoiled by the tourist boom on the spanish coast because it was already an established holiday get-away for rich folks from Barcelona and cigar importers. In fact, the street from the station to the center of town – less than a ten minute walk – is call Calle Isla de Cuba and the town is full of beautiful vacation homes from the 1800s.
His once quiet fishing village today boasts large number of clean and sandy beaches, groovy boutiques, and a handful of interesting sights. Sitges has been fashionable since the 1890s, when it became an avant-garde art-world hang-out. Get lost in its shady side streets and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere with its old whitewashed fisherman's houses.Sitges has dining options to suit every taste and budget.

From the apartment, the guest will have a 180º view of the beach and the famous church, and is therefore considered a top location in Sitges . It overlooks also into the well maintained Mediterranean garden with the shared large swimming pool on the left with facilities for children.
The marina of Aiguadolç is few steps away with a lot of shops and restaurants.
Regarding leasure infrastructures, Sitges, as a cosmopolitan town, is perfectly equipped. It has at tourists disposal cinemas, theatres, a bowling alley, a sports hall, football fields, tennis courts, swimming pools (either indoors or outdoors), cybercafes and internet on-line centres, a golf course (next to the Sunway Beach & Golf Hotel), etc. Moreover, Universal Port Aventura amusement park is located few miles far from Sitges.
As far for gastronomy, there are countless restaurants in Sitges to enjoy great meals, making a where you can have a good time tasting Sitges traditional gastronomy and Mediterranean cuisine in general, enjoying a pleasant view to the sea meanwhile.
As it is for the nightlife, Sitges is just unsurpassable. The very famous Calle del Pecado (Street of Sin) is the neuralgic centre (not the only one, however) of long nights of fun and party in the summer season, with lots of bars, pubs and discos that make Sitges enviable at night.
Sitges (colloquial and formerly known as "La Blanca Subur") was, not so long ago, a little fishing town before turning into a favourite tourist destination for thousands of Spaniards and Europeans. In that sense, there are lots of people that, attracted to the sea richness, take a chance with a fishing rod and a fish hook from one of the nice rock breakwaters that separate one beach from another in front of the seaside promenade, or from any rocky place facing the sea next to the town centre. It's also possible to practice sea and underwater fishing from any of the three marinas named above.
Sitges cultural offer is also very extensive itself, boasting very well-known museums of great quality, temporary exhibitions, theatre performances, music and film festivals, and so on. Santiago Rusiñol, one of the great artists and writers of the Catalan modernism lived in Sitges.

The peaceful Mediterranean garden has pretty palms and olive trees. Only 10 minutes walk from the railway station, a 5-10 minutes stroll to the oldest part of town.

La vue est imprenable. (Vue sur la ville la mer couché de soleil). Accès rapide pour tout : 3 min piscine 5 min de la plage et du port 15 min centre ville Barcelone 30 min train (très facile) Confort appartement: Logement et salle de bain très bien aménagés (2 chambres).Le tout est très propre.Un très grand confort est la climatisation pour passer de bonnes nuits. On n'a manqué de rien mais on n' a pas beaucoup cuisiné. Peut-être que pour la cuisine, il manque un peu équipement (Vaisselle). On a vécu tout notre séjour sur la terrasse. Parc et Piscine partagée très bien entretenus et sans trop de monde. Propriétaire très convivial et parlant français. Conclusion : Vraiment à recommander. Etat : Note et commentaire en ligne
