Very comfortable and clean. Worked perfectly for our family of five. Up to date and large kitchen. Nice to have 1 1/2 baths. Great location, easy parking, walk to downtown SB or the beach. Very kid-friendly with many thoughtful items like books, coloring, shells and even a wagon as well as sand toys. Cute backyard, although too rainy for us to use while we were there, would be great in drier times.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

My husband and I along with our three young children and my parents spent the Independence Day holiday here. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and has all the amenities of home, including items for the beach. Thick, quality bathroom towels and large, thick beach towels. Soft sheets and lots of extra blankets. Very kid-friendly and included a pack-n-play for our toddler. The kitchen had all the appliances, pots/pans, utensils, serving dishes we needed. We loved being able to eat outside on the large, redwood backyard dining set (seats 8 comfortably- newer set than the picture). The umbrella has strings of lights that make for a romantic or relaxing time outdoors. Though it was too cold to spend much time at the beach, our kids loved playing in the nice sized back yard which had very nice landscaping. We took trips to downtown Main Street using the sturdy kiddie wagon from the garage (parked our car here). Lots of little mom and pop restaurants, art galleries, shops/boutiques with unique items. We personally recommend El Burrito Jr. for great Mexican food and Old Town Cafe for great Belgian Waffles! Our kids recommend the Knock Knock toy store. We loved taking walks on the pier and looking out at the ocean. Quiet neighborhood. Very safe. My husband and I walked to Main Street/the pier in the evening for a "date night". We loved making great family memories together here. Our kids still talk about the "beach house" and want to go back. We look forward to doing so again.

Spent three nights here in late July. Great location, just a couple blocks (less than a five minute walk) to the beach and/or Main St. Had three small kids in tow and all manage to walk along without complaint. House is very comfortable and perfect for a family and or a couple simply looking to get away. Has W/D in garage that's very convenient, enclosed back yard which was great for the kids when we took a break from the beach. BBQ that was easy to use and a nice patio set which we dined on more than once. Big, airy kitchen...great value if you're looking for some time at the beach
