Fully furnished great quiet get-away on the Leland River. Surrounded by gardens and a large yard for entertaining. A short walk or bike ride to the village for shopping, beautiful sandy beaches, art galleries, restaurants, Leland harbor, and historic Fishtown. Wineries and vineyards are close by.
This house is on one level and has all the amenities, 3 bedrooms and sleeps six. Families are welcomed. The master bedroom looks out on the river, has a queen bed, television, large walk in closet and is next to the bathroom. Second bedroom is nicely appointed with queen bed. Back bedroom has two twin-trundle beds and shares bathroom with second bedroom.
The living room has a wood burning fireplace, piano and opens on to a screened porch for dining or relaxing and gazing at the river. The fully equipped kitchen is opened to the dining room, with great views of the birch-lined river and gardens.
Large boat dock /deck on the river accommodates your boat and provides a great spot for duck, swan and occasional otter sightings. A canoe and kayak are included for the guests’ personal use. A picnic table, charcoal bar-b-que and large grassy yard make for memorable summer evenings, enjoying dinner and cocktails on the river. A short drive or walk to the Harbor provides views of the spectacular sunsets on Lake Michigan. An ice cream cone from the Harbor House tops off a perfect summer evening.

This house has been in my family for over 20 years.

This house is on the beautiful Leland River with shoreline gardens, a large grassy yard, and riverfront deck and dock. Take a relaxing canoe, kayak or boat ride down the Leland River (canoe and kayak included), to restaurants and shopping. In the other direction, the River opens on to Lake Leelanau (both North and South) for boating, fishing, wild-life viewing in the Narrows, water skiing or just cruising the vast shoreline and viewing the cottages.

My parents owned this house for decades. I am managing this property for my mother. I have been coming to Leland since my childhood. I have lived in the Leland area since 1987, and have spent many wonderful hours at the family river house on Oak Street.
