Centrally located in Tahoe Donner, this charming 1300 sq ft, 3 br/2 ba (large loft) cabin has a large deck with a mountain view. Cozy yet spacious, this cabin was thoughtfully renovated in 2007 with new paint, kitchen, fireplace, carpet, reclaimed barn wood oak flooring in the living room and kitchen and more... This cabin has character and is perfect year-round for family or friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend away or for a couple or two for a romantic escape.
The living room and kitchen faces the north east with lots of windows and an open view, it brings great morning sunshine into the living spaces. It's great to wake up and come out to pleasant natural morning light!
The 2 downstairs bedrooms is located in the back of the cabin, which makes the rooms very peaceful for a good night's rest. It feature 1 queen size rustic solid pine sleigh bed and 2 Antique Simmons twin beds. Upstairs loft has 2 twin beds, a queen full size futon, and another full-size futon. All solid oak. It's spacious and is perfect for children to gather around and play games while the adults relax downstairs.
Tahoe Donner is a members-only resort community that provides excellent amenities for its members and guests for a nominal fee using passes provided, including: Private beach club with boat launch, boat rentals and snack bar; Recreation center with three heated swimming pools (one open year-round) and play areas; Exceptional gym with hot tubs, steam room and sauna; and Extensive hiking trails.
Other Tahoe Donner amenities include: Championship golf course and driving range; Tennis center with 11 courts; Equestrian center with horse and pony rides; Downhill and cross country ski areas; Sledding and snow play area; and Archery range.

Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Donner
Tahoe Donner is a great planned development community with lots of great amenities. This includes recreation centers, pools, horse back riding, tennis, golf, and lots of beautiful hiking trails. It is close to Donner Lake, where you can canoe, kayak, or just hang out on the beach basking in sunshine. For the winter time, it is centrally located to a wide variety of ski resorts, and it's in close distance to downtown Truckee with many hang out places we really enjoy visiting. I think people that are considering buying a vacation home should definitely check this area out.

As a vacation rental owner, we want our visitors to feel like they are getting the kind of experience they would when they are in a hotel. We furnished the cabin without any 'hand me down' stuff, so when you are in bed or reaching in the linen closet for towels, you will see the detailed care we took to make you feel comfortable. This is important because we know a good experience will lead you to come back!

When we purchased this cabin back in 2007, we renovated the entire place starting from putting in a brand new kitchen, flooring, interior and exterior paint. We took a lot of care to furnish the cabin with brand new sheets and linens to make sure that our visitors can have a "hotel-like" experience staying at the cabin. Whether it's winter or summer, this cabin is great for a romantic escape or some family fun.
