We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Princeville and that's largely due to the fact that we were at Property 26457 for our 12 day holiday. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the premise that was beautifully decorated spacious and comfortable.The kitchen was well equipped and had all the amenities that allowed us to save considerable amount of money by cooking almost all of our meals. The livingroom with the large screen TV and Internet access and the 3 lanais ( for quiet reading and relaxation) was all that was needed to make this holiday a great one. When you add the presence of beach equipment and great views it becomes an icing on an amazing cake. We were thoroughly awed by Kauai and pampered by our residence. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Shamefully, we did not post a review after our wonderful stay! This was our second stay in this unit, but with new owners, which made us nervous at first. Silly....they were wonderful to deal with, and their upgrades to the unit are great. We would absolutely stay here again, though not this year...the flight from RI is just too long to do every year *sigh*. The unit is spacious and the beds are quite comfortable (two king beds!). All the comforts of home are there, especially the wi-fi. Three very important things to consider: 1) It is VERY quiet at Mauna Kai, especially this unit. This is not the case for some condo complexes in this price range. 2) The new Westin Princeville is a short walk down Wyllie road (or the golf course) and it has a small convenience store with Starbucks coffee, sundries, and ready to eat or grill foods, poolside bar and nice restaurant. 3) This complex is an easy in and out to the main highway, and also the Foodland shopping complex. We took advantage of Tamarind Thai and Federico's Mexican food there for inexpensive, close-by, yummy meals. Next to the shopping center is a playground, too, if you have small children. Easy walk. Thank you for a great stay, and perhaps we'll be back next year!

My family of five had a wonderful time staying in your wonderful condo. It was very spacious..and well appointed. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed, especially thankful for all the beach toys in the closet for the kids. Great rate for a three bedroom unit! Our favorite place to eat was Bar Acuda...so wonderful..and of course Wishing Well Shave ice. Thank you so much!!

The best vacation I ever had. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. The setting and privacy with views of the Makai golf course, were just fabulous. I really appreciated the free wi fi and long distance telephone service and was able to take care of some business also. I already miss the tradewinds. I WILL be back!

We stayed at #25 Mauna Kai two years in a row, 1st with our oldest son and daughter-in-law for a week, and loved it so much we came back the next year with our younger son and his wife as well as 2 other younger friends. We all enjoyed staying as it was truly a home away from home. Listening to the birds coo coo and the chickens crow gave it a real feeling of relaxation and vacation, hope to go again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation!! Your condo was truly relaxing. Everything that we needed was there - boogie boards, kitchen needs, beach towels, even lots of good dvd's! It was so quiet and peaceful here. Beds were great, lots of room to spread out everywhere, and so nice and clean. Nice pool and bbq as well. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us!!

This place is truly paradise! I stayed here with two friends in early December 2007 and we had a wonderfully relaxing, enjoyable vacation. We had a permanent rainbow outside the front window. I loved the posters, especially the ones of the Duke, as I met Duke Kahanamoku personally when I was a child, so I felt right at home. The condo was well-equipped, comfortable and filled with good vibes. I would love to return any time!

This is truly a "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" We had some friends stay for a few nights and so the 3 BEDROOM, 2 BATH, home was perfect for the 4 of us. The living and dining areas look out on the golf course with ocean views. The nicely equipped kitchen was perfect for my wife to cook her some of her gourmet breakfasts from her menu from The Lake House Bed & Breakfast in Lake Arrowhead Ca. We also enjoyed the two lanai patios for our morning breakfast and evening dinners. Having DSL broadband & internet connectivity was great to stay in touch with friends and family. Played golf at the Makai golf course, it was great. Debi & I highly recommend staying here, it was GREAT!
