Lakeside Resort is a community of lovely condo's located directly across from the Fountain Park. Our 1,000 sqft. (2 Bedroom, 2 bath, Living Room, Fireplace, Kitchen, Large Covered Patio, Heated Community Pool and Spa), condo offers a lot for the money. This home away from home has a very large patio area which looks directly at the Lake and Fountain. HIGH SPEED INTERNET!!! Neutral Beiges and a touch of the Southwest grace this lovely property. Master bath has walk in shower with hand rails. Master bedroom has a KING size bed, while 2nd bedroom has King size. Second bathroom has a tub/shower and a utility room has a washer/dryer. All rooms have a view of the fountain/lake. The community has a Heated Pool, spa, and club house just steps from your door. No stairs and direct access from covered parking make this easy living.
Referred to as the "World's Tallest Fountain" it brings visitors from all over the globe. This small community has beautiful mountain views and is surround by Red Rock Mtn, Four Peaks Mtn, McDowell Mtn and the world famous Superstition Mtns. The Fountain Festival in November and The Great Fair in February offer more than 400 artists and artisans, hot air balloon races, food and music with free admission. November and March bring "Concerts in the Park" which showcase such music as Jazz, Country, Big Band and Contemporary. Although Scottsdale and the Valley are just a short 15 min to 30 min drive away they seem a world away from this quaint Town of Fountain Hills.
Restaurants, shopping, library, city hall and community center are all within a minutes walk from your front door.

The designated scenic highway is the first part of a day trip to nearby Grand Canyon.
To the South near Tucson (2 hour drive) is the real Old West. Tombstone, the site of the real-life "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" and where countless Hollywood movies have been filmed. Stayed with wife and two boys the week of Thanksgiving to visit my inlaws who live in FH. Originally booked a hotel in town and then cancelled that after finding this unit was available. We lived in AZ for five years so know the area well. Our rental experience exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, convenience and value. Check in and out was seamless with the lockbox. Unit had everything you really need; really liked that it had free wifi and satellite tv. Kids could not believe how many mirrors were in the place :). Pool area was impressive as the kids took the plunge one day. Could see the fountain go off from your living room or patio; kids still love feeding the ducks across the street at the lake. The owner (Margaret) is very easy to work with and I would definitely consider renting from her again (here or in FL).
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed here the 3rd week of August when NOBODY vacations in AZ. 104 to 112 degrees every day! The condo was great though and Margaret ( the owner),could not have been nicer. The unit was clean and comfortable and the bed was good. I was on business and did not spend much time in the unit but I would stay here again anytime. Daniel and Martha Grunwald

This is our second trip to Fountain Hills, AZ. We are so pleased to stay in this condo. The condo is very well maintained, clean, nice and has such a beautiful fountain view right at the patio. There are restaurants and local shops in park walking distance. I took walking or jogging around park almost every morning. You will be greeted by so many nice people and all kind of cute dogs. 15 - 20 min. to Scottsdale shopping. 5 min. to Desert Canyon golf course with great rate, nice course condition, and beautiful mountain view. My daughter and I both loved this place; she did not want to come back. We had a great time there.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

This condo met every expectation and more. A highly comfortable, conveniently located and nicely appointed condo, in a very clean, friendly complex (not a crowded feeling). It really could not be made any easier to enjoy. Excellent community heated pool, whirlpool, and gas grill area. Very convenient parking. Large, covered patio provides an absolutely spectacular view of the fountain close enough to get sprinkled on a windy day. One of the best walking paths anywhere, wraps around the fountain and lake (1.2 miles). Views of mountains in the area are outstanding - you quickly forget you are only minutes from Phoenix. We will not hesitate to recommend or visit again. Thanks Margaret, you are a delightful and accommodating host who made our visit memorable!
