  It was the location that got my attention for this place. It has a kitchen you can make breakfast and lunch and dinner. Go to the beach within walking distance. It was very quiet yet the outside was lively with people walking by and a great club next door. Its not a hotel you don't get fresh towels and get your bed turned or room service. It is a no frills condo with one Queen size bed and one pull out love seat kitchen and 4 piece restroom. It was great for my needs :D

  This was a girls get away.... we had a wonderful time! the condo was quite comfortable and really home like. the condo was equioed with everything that was needed, i laughed at the pil and shovels that were available in the condo for a childs visit to the beach...thats what i call home away from home. The king sized bed was very comfortable, i did not sleep on the pull out bed, however the two that did had no complaints at all. The business aspect of renting the condo was very smooth.. all transactions and notifications were done almost instantly. i would stay at the condo again, and i would recommend it to all.

  This place was perfect. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do on Ocean Drive. Not to mention right across the street from the beach. We stayed there 4 nights and had a blast. It was great because we didn't have to walk too far after partying too hard down at Mangos...lol. Great place to stay. Susan made everything easy and convenient for us. Thanks again Susan. I will definitely visit again.

  The property is well maintained,very clean and in the center of all activity Miami has to offer, perfect for a girls weekend sleeps 4 comfortable. Includes a full kitchen with all appliances to prepare some meals in for added savings. Susan is excellent to deal with very attentive to her clients addressing any concerns immediatly. I would recommend this place 100%!!!!

  This is our second stay at 918 Ocean and we LOVE it! A great location with a great owner that goes out of her way to make you feel at home.....in her home. A comfortable stay with all of the amenities to stay in, cook at home and watch TV, or take in South Beach and come back and grab a nap and head back out. This place is in the heart of it all and when we come back to Miami, we already know where we want to stay. Randy & Erin

  I was excited about staying so close to the beach but when I got to the rental I regretted my decision. As soon as I got to the apartment I had to sweep the floor. There was sand all over the floor in the room and bathroom so I knew that housekeeping didn't do a good job. The bathroom is out of date and the towel bar was missing but the holders where sticking out of the wall. After contacting the owner to let her know about the uncleanliness of the apartment she had the housekeeper come over to reclean the whole apartment. The housekeepers excuse for the room not being cleaned properly on it being dark when she cleaned but the room clearly had good lighting. The owner also had maintenance fix the towel bar. The location was great but I wouldn't anyone to rent the property if your use to living in a clean, modern environment. Also, if you rent don't forget anything cause you'll never get it back. My friend left her shoes and offered to pay for the package to be sent but the housekeeper gave her the run around. Got charged $50 for damaged towels and pillow cases when all we did was use them.

  Owner response: Dear Guest, We love your response good or bad and we learn a lot from it. However, we like the truthful ones, representing the situation or the property owner response correctly. Yes, you were right about the floors and the cleaning lady redo her job immediately as well as the management company replacing the towel bar the same day. What was not true was the deposit of $50 that was not given back to you. Remember, you were short $20 and were not able to pay the amount due? I just took that amount from your deposit and second, the bath towels were used at the beach ( they are strictly for use in the apartment) and the pillow cases were smeared with make up. I didn't charge you for that! Also, when clients forget personal belongings in the apartment they don't contact the cleaning personnel but rather the owner to resolve an issue. After my cleaning lady told me about the shoes. I immediately wrote to my previous clients to get understanding who left them and to ship them to the owner. No one responded and please, the shoes are still here and if your friend let me know where to ship it to, I will .I've done that in the past and I even sent items back to England at my expence. I value and respect my clients a lot and do everything possible to resolve issues and make their stay in South Beach as pleasant as possible!

  Clean, well located & maintained apartment. Building is clean & well maintained. Everything is as described with a large refrigerator. Owner is on top of everything, effective, efficient & communicates clearly & quickly. Security deposit returned promptly. A great base to tour the area. Kudos to owner.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  Checked in and it seemed like a good choice. Until we walked around the apt barefooted and was stepping into sand grains and long black hair was sticking to my feet. (no one in our party has black hair). Black hair all over the bedroom/bathroom floor. This is where it gets better, the elevator breaks down but from what I heard this is normal for this building, which the enclosed the in original contract. If we knew that ahead of time we wouldn't of booked it. My mom is almost 70 and as for me I had back/hip surgery 4 months ago. The last thing we want to do is crawl through a vomited, urinated, cockroach infested Alley.in order. In order to make that place liveable scrub cleaning has to begin now. I sterilized the bathroom (which by the way had a hole in the shower handle which washed the bathroom walls amd floors if not positioned correctly, and the kitchen, while my mom vacuum and the other washed the floors on his knees. The other one took fantastic, broom and a bucket of hot waters to clean the back entrance). By now we are exhausted from cleaning what the Maid shouldn't of done. She obviously knew she didn't do her job, she returned to Us the cleaning deposit. She continued to tell us she did, then we gave her a shoe that was left over from last time. They supposedly had the elevator serv on a schedule to fix it Tuesday, again lack of communication because knowing this we would of never booked it. The major deal breaker was when I got stuck in the elevator and started to panic, out of the 7 days staying there, eve actor was broken 6 of those days! I hated coming home beacuse of the obstacles waiting for us. As for sleeping, The apt is literary in the alley so you got the after work staff parties from Fat Tuesdays going on, smoking weed and blasting their radio as if a concert just started directly next to the door of our back entrance.As for scenes looking out is about 20+ air conditioners humming and maybe an occasional party from your lovely neighbors underneath you. Won't ever go there no matter how cheap, but gave me the experience of how I truly need to treat my customers. Just because you don't live there doesnt mean you shouldn't care! Skip this place, you would find something better with that price elsewhere!

  Owner response: I am truly sorry for my client's experience. However, I received a call 24 hours after they arrived that the floors are not cleaned property. I offered immediately my cleaning Lady to be in the apartment and redo whatever they didn't feel was properly done. They stated that there is no need for that. The very next morning, on Saturday, on her free day my cleaning Lady was in the apartment and asked what she could do but the clients stated that everything is fine, no need anything to be done. I asked her as well to check the stairs and clean if needed but there was no trace of anything described in the review. I believe her! In regards of the roaches - Florida is a perfect place for them. It's hot and humid! The management company does a great job keeping them out of the building. My cleaning Lady refunded the cleaning fee to the clients which was her decision. She is a hard working, excellent worker and a very honest and reliable person. She also works for most of the owners in the building and everyone of us is very, very happy with her work. How do we know that? - from our clients! I had several calls that the elevator broke ( which is correct) and that the fire doors were locked ( not true!), contacted the management company and they did a fantastic job sending a technician to repair the elevator right away. The elevator was due for a mayor repair and that repaid has been done. Also, the client stated that was stuck in the elevator ( not a pleasant experience at all) but there is an emergency button in case that happens connected to the police and the client didn't use it. I take an excellent care of my clients and my property! If any problems arise I resolved them right away. I answer calls 24/7. What my clients didn't mention was that I offered to refund the money and for them to find a place to be comfortable in. They didn't take advantage and stayed in my place. I am wondering why?????????? Still, I feel very uncomfortable that I had unhappy clients. I am always striving for happy vacationers and work very hard for that. Ocean Drive is a great neighborhood, 918 Ocean Drive had a great location, the Ocean is in front of the building, left and right are all the hot spots, the apartment is always very clean and in mint condition. Having the property for 9 years and people from all over the world I have to say that for a first time I had clients that dislike everything about the apartment, Ocean Drive and stayed regardless of my offer.

  Just have to say it was perfect location....really no need to rent a car....nightlife is just a walk away....the beach is across the street......would definitely rent again if available......

  The location of the condo is perfect. Now, the actual condo itself...pretty economy style. Everything worked in condo no complaints there but nothing for you to oohhh and ahhh about. Applicances etc are outdated so basically don't look to be at the ritz carton or anything....it’s more like I would say Microtel Budget Inn stay. Be careful with towels and all the property in there. The owner charged us for damaged towels although I'm not really sure how we could have damaged towels, the cleaning lady said we did. Maybe too dirty from sand etc I don't know. Would I stay here again? I definitely stay off of ocean drive but I'm little shaky about staying in this condominium again I will say no. I had a better experience at Cafe Milano and the Carlyle.

  Had a wonderful stay, very clean and comfy place to stay at. Location of the studio was very convenient to everything on Ocean Dr. Would definitely come back and stay here in the future.

  We rented this condo and was very happy with the location, easy access to the beach and all restaurants as well as the condo itself. The interior was very well put together with nice colors and great furnishing.

  Goood place to stay, in front of the see and in the centre of south beach! The only problem is that, althought the apartament is good located and nice, is very noisy since it is just in front of the air conditioner of the other building! The owner is not achievable in all the moments and for example when we had a problem because the door didn't open, we were completely unassisted!!!

  Owner response: I am sorry about Alisson's experience. At the beginning of my client's stay I was in Europe and never received a call or e-mail about any problems. I would have reacted immediately. It is a mystery how the problem with the door was solved. I will white to Alisson to find out. However, the pleasant stay of my client's is very important to me and I apologize for any inconveniences. I am reachable 24/7
