This 1400 sq foot condo, built in 2005, has two-bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It is tastefully decorated with a gas fireplace and television/DVD/CD player. The dining room can seat eight people comfortably. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with large whirlpool tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has double bed, with an adjoining room equipped with a portable double bed – perfect for children.
This self-catering condo is fully equipped with all appliances - gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas barbeque, washer and dryer. All linens are included. The kitchen is equipped with the basics for cooking – oils, sugar, spices, tea/coffee, etc.

We are Ken and Terri. We live and work in Ottawa, and purchased the condo in 2006, as both an investment and a mini-vacation getaway. We love the condo – it is a wonderful getaway from the city, and close to skiing, golf, hiking and the Black Sheep Inn – where we enjoy local bands. We maintain the condo ourselves, and are only 40 minutes away.
Why the Owner Chose Wakefield
Wakefield is a charming community in the Gatineau Park; just 25 minutes north of Ottawa, Ontario – Canada’s national capital. The Gatineau Park covers 30,000 acres and promises a year-round endless list of activities. In the winter there are many cross-country ski trails for the novice to expert skier. There are five downhill ski resorts within a 30 minute drive. In spring, summer and autumn, the hills provide excellent hiking and mountain or road biking. There are also three quality 18-hole golf courses within 30 minutes – with particularly breathtaking autumn views of the Gatineau Hills.
