The social club house is approximately 24,000 square feet and the exercise facilities and indoor pool area is approximately 18,000 square feet. I would place this exercise facilities up against any gym I have exercise at! Great exercise equipment, cardio machines that faces the outdoor pool all have private viewing screens and ear phone connections to work out with your owned program that you set.
Also, indoor pool for exercising is approximately 70 to 75 feet in length and the depth goes across the 5 lanes for swimming, from 3 1/2 feet to 5 feet in depth. So there are approximately 3 to 5 lanes to walk in the water-the length of the pool depending on your height. Also, there is both an indoor and out door heated spa/jet and the swimming pools are always heated to approximately 82 to 84 degrees in the winter months.

Why the Owner Chose Sun City, Shadow Hills
We purchase this home as I worked and sold homes for Del Webb prior to us moving here and living there full time for 5 years. I always wanted to live on a golf course for the serenity, beauty and the openness it gives to you. I pick this specific lot for its location, size and the privacy it afforded us and our quests. I selected the 2147 sq. ft. Plan model and selected the options for our home. Our home on the golf course is located on the radius of the curve, so our back yard is wider and the back yard is deeper than most and is out and away from the homes on either side of us unlike most other golf course lots.
The Unique Benefits at this House
A round of golf for 2009 was $45 a round after paying a one time fee of $45 and after every 10 rounds you received a free round of golf. The outside public is invited to play but at about $110 a round. Which is very reasonable fee compared to other golf courses in the low desert. Please refer to my comments on our club house and exercise club house above. They have many different type of clubs to join,(Men's golf, lady's putters, sewing, wine tasting and the list goes on and on...... Palm Spring airport is less than 30 minutes away, down town Palm Spring is 30 minutes from SCSH, The River in Rancho Mirage is 15 to 20 minutes away, shopping is within 1 to 4 miles from SCSH. A large number or Restaurants are within a 5 to 15 minutes drive and SCSH has a Restaurant at the Golf Club area!

Hello! My wife, Rae and I, Gil, Invite you to our home of the past five years. We love our home and the warmth of my wife decorating and the comfort it gave to us, our family and our friends. We have decided to move to San Diego to be closer to our three adult children and their families. I sold homes in SCSH for Del Webb for 5 years and two of those years were as the Sales Manager. Our home is located on the second fairway of the SCSH Golf Club on the Main Course. It has a beautiful and peaceful court yard with a large fountain. Our backyard faces the golf course with mountain views. It has a barbecue and bar seating area; a fire pit seating area; a tanning area and general seating in Wicker like-cushion chairs and additional eating area overlooking the golf course, mountains. With a very large patio cover protecting you from the sun and the elements. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we did! When we retire, we plan to spend time here during the winter months. Enjoy the photographs of our home and yard. Better yet rent our home and enjoy the country club setting and the Palm Springs life style.
