Enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the mountains and desert from the very private and landscaped gardens. This home is separated by a high wall from the rear entrances of a small strip mall. The building is completely blocked from view by the handsome stone wall and there is no activity at the rear of the mall, leaving the yard and views of the mountains extremely quiet and private.
Sun City Vistoso/Tucson is one of Tucson's premier active adult communities, only 14 miles from the center of Tucson and all the conveniences of the city. It is a short 10 minute walk to the golf course and recreational facilities that offer tennis, swimming, bocce, fitness centers (weightlifting, aerobics, whirlpool), etc. with over 90 clubs, and groups.
There are tile floors throughout the kitchen, dining area, office area and living room. The kitchen counters are granite with a stone backsplash. The bedrooms are carpeted. Appliances are new. Year Purchased: 1994
I am a retired University of Minnesota faculty member who has lived in Tucson for the last fifteen years. I am currently living in assisted care elsewhere in Tucson, but loved living the many years I was able to, at Sun City. My daughter Kate, a healer and an artist, who also lives in Tucson, is handling my property management for me. I hope that you will enjoy my home as much as I have.
Why the Owner Chose Vistoso
I am a daily swimmer. When my nine year-old granddaughter swam in our community Olympic sized heated outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees, huge blue skies and gorgeous mountains she said, "It doesn't get any better than this grandma." My husband loved bocce ball and played in the senior Olympics bocce ball here in Sun City and nearby communities such as Saddlebrook.

Exceptional hiking is available out the door and at nearby Catalina State Park, Saguaro National Park, Coronado National Forest and Tucson Mountain Park. Other nearby attractions include the famous Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Kitt Peaks world-class observatory, Biosphere 2, Old West towns, dude ranches, the art community of Tubac and Oracle and Mexico less than 2 hours to the south.
