At Beachtime you’ll enjoy a Gulf view from the wrap around deck on the main floor, or from the full length porch on the 2nd floor. This 2 story house has 2000 square feet of comfort, including 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and all the amenities of home. The house is bright and cheerfully-decorated with a comfortable living area, dining for 8, plus seating for 3 at the breakfast counter, and a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a king size, four poster bed, and off the master bedroom is a lanai furnished with Adirondack chairs for a relaxing view of the Gulf. Each of the guest bedrooms has a queen bed, and the “kids” room has two sets of bunk beds.
You can relax with flat screen, digital HD satellite TVs (and DVD players) in all bedrooms and living room…even a DVD library is available. There are CD players in the living room and bedrooms, and the kitchen has an iPod hookup to play your favorite tunes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and the Blue Ray disc player allows you to stream movies and TV shows on the large flat screen. Or perhaps you would like to relax by watching the sunset from the deck. The deck is furnished with Adirondack chairs, and there’s a gas grill for a family BBQ . You’ll find a treasure trove of beach supplies in the storage closet in the covered parking area…chairs, umbrella, skimmer boards, inner tubes, floaties and noodles.
For your comfort and convenience, Beachtime has central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, a laundry room with full-size washer, dryer, ironing board/iron, and an outside shower. We’ve tried to think of everything you might want for a memorable Beachtime vacation.
Beachtime is less than 50 yards from the beach, and only a brief stroll from the two beautiful neighborhood swimming pools and tennis courts, exclusive to people staying in the community.
For the golfers in your group, Beachtime is located near the famous Kiva Dunes Golf club, a winner of numerous Golf Digest awards. We are also close to the Peninsula Golf Club. Both are world class golfing resorts.
Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is just a few miles away from BeachTime. This refuge offers 4000 acres of undeveloped beach, dunes, marshes and wilderness on the Fort Morgan peninsula and is part of the Central Ecosystem Unit which provides refuge for the endangered logger head sea turtle, the endangered American alligator, and the rare gopher tortoise.
Historic Fort Morgan, amusement parks, museums, water sports, theaters, miniature golf, shopping, restaurants, and a variety of other activities are close to BeachTime….or just enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this home by the seaside!

Beachtime is located at 6051 Sawgrass Drive, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. Prices include everything except Alabama state sales tax, a $45 damage waiver (gives you $1500 worth of accidental damage coverage during your stay), a small house cleaning fee of $75 and a linen charge ($25/bedroom and $10/bathroom) - which includes all your linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps at all of the sinks. Clothes detergent, dish liquid and dish washer soap, as well as shampoo and conditioner are also provided. For your convenience, I can also offer optional trip insurance called "Travel Guard", from AIG, a AAAAA rated insurance company (highly recommended!!!). Beachtime is a beautiful home to spend a relaxing vacation. I call it that because you feel like you are visiting someone's home and they have said make yourself comfortable. Plus you are not in a commercial area with a public beach, so you don't have to worry about over crowding or all the traffic. Sitting out on the deck and listening to the ocean was the best part of the day. I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace, quiet and relaxation.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was beautiful and the beaches were beautiful. We had the best vacation ever, all nine of us. The house was even bigger than we expected and decorated very nice. The beds were so comfy, not like a normal rental. The kids loved playing in the sand with all the beach toys in the storage room. You don't have to take anything with you, they have it all, chairs, toys and umbrellas. We took long walks on the beach everyday. We did not see any oil or tar balls just the beautiful white beach. We rode the ferry to Dauphin Island, we highy recommend that. We spotted douphins swimming by everyday and came home with a big bag on sea shells. I wish I could go back today, can't wait till next year.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
