  This is our second trip to this beach house and I can't say enough good about it. It is such a wonderful house and the owners are fantastic. I can't describe to you how close this house is to the beach. You literally walk right off the porch onto the sand. The home is very clean and updated. The furniture is adequate (the dining room chairs are comfortable but rather large for the area). I don't think you will be disappointed. We traveled with four adults and our four young sons. Plenty of space for everyone.

  We just returned home after a wonderful week at Dolphin West. This was our second time staying here. We love that everything is clean and well maintained. The nicely equipped kitchen made meal prep enjoyable. The beds and sofas are very comfortable. The most fabulous of all is the awesome view of the gulf from the porch! Looking forward to returning next summer.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  The location was described just as the pictures indicated and the owner could not have been any more accommodating. Whatever questions we had were answered promptly and to our complete satisfaction. We were concerned about sleeping arrangements but it was not a problem. The house was clean and well maintained. The fact that we had small children whom we could watch from the porch if they walked to the water's edge was great. We also loved waking to the sound of the waves and the beautiful white sand. I would definitely recommend this home for families with 8-10 people. This area is definitely family friendly and away from the congestion of other areas.

  We really enjoyed our recent stay (4/21/12 to 4/28/12) in your lovely beach home. There were six of us and we never felt crowded as your home is so spacious. The weather & the beach was perfect and the wildlife we encountered was spectacular. Stingrays, dolphins, pelicans and a family of foxes down the street were highlights of our trip. I left five brand new beach chairs for your subsequent renters as we did not have room to take them back to Missouri with us. We really appreciated your timely repair of the air conditioner. I called JoDee and within 2 hours the repairman was there. Thanks again for your hospitality

  My family (my wife and 2 girls12 &13) stayed here with another family for one of the best weeks we've ever had. We have been to the Caribbean quite a bit and the unanimous opinion is that this topped them all. What a relaxing vacation, coffee on the deck followed by a full day on the beach. The house was perfect with plenty of room for the 11 of us. There is nothing like being right on the beach, we found ourselves not wanting to go inside to get ready for dinner every night. We went into town most nights, even though it is a bit of a drive we didn't mind much. This is a perfect place for the family to relax. We will be returning here soon.

  We spent a full week on the beach with another family during Easter Break; 4 adults, 2 college students, 2 high schoolers, and 3 junior higher's. This was a very comfortable beach house for this size group; the bedrooms were accomadating and the great room added 2 beds. The view from the back deck was awesome, with dolphins swimming just off shore daily. We spent our time in the water, on the beach and on the deck. The drive into town is about 20 minutes, so we we stayed at the beach most of the time. We ventured into town for dinner a few nights, but found ourselves grilling. Tacky Jacks 2 is just down the road at the Marina, so drinks on their deck overlookinf the marina and sunset were a good way to end our days! Highly recommended and looking forward to a return to Gulf Shores.

  My husband and I brought our son and daughter and families here for their Spring Breaks (different weeks), so we had two weeks at your wonderful house. Everything was as set forth and pictured online or better, with excellent kitchens, beds, etc. We stayed in Dolphin West, had a problem with our washer, and a new washer was installed in a couple of days - what service! We loved being right on the beach, and we would highly recommend this house. The only thing that did not go right was the ferry that we wanted to ride west, and it was not running when we needed it.

  The month of October is glorious at Dolphin West! Perfect weather, almost private beach every day, best equipped kitchen in any rental home. Wireless Internet connection was a bonus. Hope to make this an annual family event! Owners were great to work with and neighbors were all congenial. You won't be disappointed - but leave October for me!

  Two families with 5 young children shared this space for a week and it was perfect! The home is very nice, the water is feet away from the steps, and the covered deck in the front is a wonderful option that most homes did not have. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans and serving dishes you could ever need. The owner was very pleasant to work with and the price was unbeatable for the amount of space. The home was very clean and in a great, quiet location. We felt like we had our own private beach. There was a couple in the other side of the home and we could not hear them at all through the walls. We had a GREAT vacation.

  Our week at the Dolphin was just about perfect. The property was spacious and very well maintained. The beachfront is huge and the weather was gorgeous. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided except the food. The only problem we had was with the Internet, which my smart husband fixed. We left an ethernet cable with instructions for how to reset the router. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone!
