I was very pleased with the guest cottage. It was well appointed and so cozy -it had everything needed for our short stay. I traveled with my dog who was totally welcome. The location was ideal, a private haven with a beautiful yard, yet a one block walk to the charming town. Ann was a great hostess and I would love to return to this property.

Peaceful Garden Hideaway in Carmel-by-the-Sea

My sister and I stayed for four nights at Ann’s adorable guest house. It is light and bright, comfortable, attractively decorated and very welcoming. The guest house is tucked at the back of a beautiful garden setting. Being only one block from town is heaven and we walked with our dog to great Carmel restaurants. One evening we had take out food with Ann’s terrific Sangiovese on the garden patio and then watched a dvd from Ann’s collection. Ann is the perfect host in all ways. We enjoyed our stay very much and we’ll be back soon!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this cozy studio. It was clean, comfortable and charming, in a gorgeous garden. Quiet but close to town. The owner was very gracious and accommodating.

My husband and I were delighted with our Garden Studio. It was close to town for restaurants and shopping. The grounds are lovely and the studio was charming. Our hostess was away most of our stay and when she was home, we never heard her. She was kind enough to present us with a bottle of her wonderful wine. We felt like we were in our own little home......quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return for another visit.

Week Long Get-a-Way

I stayed in Ann's garden studio for a week with my husband, 12 years old daughter and small dog. The studio location is wonderful and we walked to Ocean Ave. in Carmel many times a day (only one block away). The yard is gorgeous with lots of beautiful flowers and is fenced in for a dog. The studio itself is very quant with lots of windows which made it light and bright! We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again next year!

My husband, daughter, and I spent 4 nights in this garden studio and it was perfect for our needs. The location is very short walking distance to great shopping, restaurants yet it is very quiet and peaceful. Our hostess Ann was gave us a warm welcome and I did try one of the wines from her vineyard which was very good. The studio has a lovely garden where you can sit and have your morning coffee or in our case, evening glass of wine! It is outstanding value for Carmel and we would definitely return again.

Beautiful Carmel Rental

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Carmel rental. The studio is fully equipped and has a warm and welcoming feel. Besides being spotless, it is tastefully decorated and a perfect place to kick off your flip-flops after a day at the beach. We loved the peaceful garden setting. Everything is within easy walking distance, all of Carmel’s great galleries, restaurants, shops, and natural beauty are only steps away. Thank you Ann for being a wonderful host!

Had a terrifically relaxing stay! The studio had everything I was looking for -- kitchenette, gas fireplace, tub, and wifi. The property was beautiful, even in the rain. Nice and quiet. A block or two to downtown. Ann is super nice! Thanks so much!

I recently had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in this charming, peaceful vintage Studio. There are so many lovely touches - both in the Studio and throughout the property. Plus, Ann is a lovely hostess. She makes you feel so welcome, but is never intrusive. And the location is perfect - literally one block from Ocean Avenue shops and restaurants. As a bonus - Ann has vineyard that produces a terrific Sangiovese! Definitely ask her if there is any more available. It's yummy!
