Welcome to our home away from home – Unit A-03 - our beautiful ground floor oceanfront studio condo at Sand Dollar Resort on the island of dive freedom – Bonaire. Our condo is one of the largest studios on Bonaire at over 600 square feet and truly is our home away from home. This unit can comfortably accommodate two adults and two children under twelve.
This condo features a refreshing tropical theme with complete kitchen including newer appliances and everything you could need to prepare your own meals if you so choose. With a large newly renovated bathroom including a glass-block walk-in shower you will instantly feel right at home. For a comfortable rest a queen size bed with ample pillows and ceiling fan overhead is provided.
For entertainment a color TV with multiple cable channels, DVD player, CD stereo with MP3 input, various books and island guides are all for your use. Additionally a 24,000 BTU air-conditioning unit capable of cooling the entire unit in a matter of minutes and an electronic security safe for all your valuables that can accommodate a normal size lap top computer are provided in the unit. We have also provided ample storage and hangers for clothing and dive/snorkel gear including a dedicated hanging/drying area on the patio.
The oceanfront side of the condo looks directly at the beautiful Caribbean Sea and Klein Bonaire through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which allow for access to the screened-in patio and wonderful year round sunsets. We have provided comfortable patio chairs and an eating area on the patio to allow you to enjoy a snack and the views 24 hours a day. The patio door provides direct access to the oceanfront promenade and sunning terrace. We often eat breakfast, lunch and dinner on the screened in patio in comfort and relaxation.
We are the closest ground floor studio unit in the Sand Dollar Resort complex to the dive center and pier but it still remains quiet, private and secure. Bonaire Dive and Adventure along with Fish Eye Photo are ready to help with all your needs including equipment rental, equipment repair, shore diving, boat diving, dive and photo instruction, and sightseeing/land tours.
Fantastic shore diving is located directly in front of the Sand Dollar Resort on Bari Reef – rated the top reef in the Caribbean for variety of fish species. As a guest at Sand Dollar you will have unlimited access to Bari Reef for incredible morning, afternoon, twilight and night diving – all just a convenient short walk away. Sand Dollar Resort is centrally located on Bonaire so all dive sites north or south are within a few minutes. Need a snack or pit stop - you can literally spend your dive intervals right at the condo if you choose.
On-site management, maintenance and daily maid service means your vacation will be hassle free. With a new large pool, lounge chairs, lighted tennis courts, and bar/restaurant on-site and with several other restaurants, gym/spa, ice cream parlor, bank, grocery stores, and shopping a very short walk away the little conveniences and forgotten necessities are right there for you. We are proud to have guests return year after year to stay with us and will do everything we can to make your stay a special one to remember.
We are not absentee owners but visit as often as we can. We take pride in our unit and making guests as comfortable as possible. More then two adults in your group, please inquire about co-renting a second studio unit just steps away. Many guests have told us they enjoy the privacy of having their own condo unit while appreciating the convenience of being so close to friends and family.
