Situated on the best beach front on Grace Bay, the Royal West Indies Resort provides an atmosphere of casual elegance to meet even the most demanding travelers' expectations. In addition to the spectacular beach, a wide array of tropical flora and fauna with lush specimen plantings are meticulously maintained and showcased throughout the property. The resort captures the bygone era of British Colonial Architecture with a Caribbean flair and all the modern amenities you would expect in a first rate resort.
Our "Tropical Attitude" suite has been decorated and furnished to epitomize a tropical oasis which is both calming and tantalizing. This top floor one bedroom corner unit features panama ceiling fans and 12 ft tray ceilings which accentuate the bright and spacious 1004 sq ft floor plan. The third floor 297 sq ft wrap-around deck offers panoramic treetop views and is situated right above the "quiet pool" and the serene and tranquil waterfall.
Breakfast on the deck with its east-facing vantage point is the perfect way to start your day in paradise. The artfully constructed pergola provides ventilation and filtered shade and takes advantage of the cooling trade wind breezes.
This third floor suite in building six offers ultimate quiet and privacy. It is situated away from the restaurant, bar and more busy areas of the resort, but yet, it's only steps away from the beach and its warm turquoise waters.
The main living area is tastefully decorated and includes original local artwork and decorative items enhancing the ultimate island experience. The kitchen which is part of the great room is fully stocked with flatware, stoneware, pots, pans, etc. and granite countertops. You can do as little or as much as you like in preparing meals, snacks or entertaining.
The master bedroom with King size bed, boasts the same 12 ft tray ceiling, a panama fan and plenty of storage. The Plantation shutters assure an extra level of privacy and sophistication.

Royal West Indies Resort is located on the very best section of Grace Bay beach. It has spectacular turquoise waters and soft white sandy beaches. The ocean is calmed by the protection of one of the worlds' largest reef systems which encircles the island. The Turks & Caicos currency is the US dollar. Convenient non-stop flights are available from the North East and non-stops are available from other major hubs in the US and Canada. A New York morning flight will have you on the beach with a Margarita in your hand by lunch time :)

We both grew up in the North East United States and share a deep passion for the Caribbean and its tropical allure. Following many years of extensive travel throughout the Caribbean, we fell in love with the beauty of Grace Bay and the warm and friendly people of the island. We consider ourselves to be connoisseurs of great beaches and in our opinion, none compare to the tranquil waters and white talcum powdery sand of the Grace Bay Beach. In 2003 we were fortunate to purchase our home in Paradise. Over the years we have placed our personal touch on our suite to epitomize a unique Caribbean paradise. The beauty of the island and the casual elegance that our suite offers never ceases to delight us each and every time we visit. Tropical Therapy is by far the best therapy. In the spring of 2008 we were married on the beach in front of the Royal West Indies Resort. Friends and family who attended enjoyed a wonderful and memorable occasion. Many have since returned to the island and have also become passionate Turks & Caicos aficionados.
