This is the perfect place to stay, very clean, close to all restaurants, sovenir shops, and of course the outlet mall! We had the best time. so conveinent to the beach and other amenities provided-very impressed with the description of everything, very accurate! We will stay again!

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect!! LOVED that it was ground level. We were able to park right outside of our patio. And you cant beat that it was right on the beach. The place had everything we needed and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! Also, Rick's Crab Trap is MUST check out. The chargrilled oysters are seriously something we STILL talk about.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was very nicely furnished and a great location. Just an easy walk to the beach. The beach chairs and umbrella was another reason we decided to stay here. What a plus! Other places that we looked at wanted to charge extra for these, up to $40 per day. The condo was very clean and Roy does an excellent job providing information to you before your stay. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to spend some relaxing time in Destin. I loved the fact that it is located on the ground floor, very convenient to everything. Thanks again!

My Family and I loved the place is was a great week sunny and hot every day but the last, a very peacefully and cozy room. within walking of great places to eat ( we didnt eat at ricks crab shack within the building) pool was very nice and wlking to the beach every morning was a site for eveyone to enjoy. We will be coming back again Thanks again Roy P.S. Roy (the owner) was very nice and helpful( great guy to work with)

Very pleasant place, great location and big enough for two people. Washer and dryer located close to unit which was great. Loved the porch and ability to walk to a couple of restauants.

This was a great complex, just what we were looking for, a relaxing and quiet time at the beach. Roy, the owner, was very thorough in providing keys, parking pass, and information on the area. A special touch I thought was a letter including miscellaneous items dealing with the condo, such as water temp. We stayed in a ground level unit which was great that we could come and go via the patio which had a privacy wall surrounding. Also, there is a walkway from the pool deck to the private beach. Roy was great in providing 2 chairs and an umbrella daily for our stay. This was our 1st time to Destin area and we loved it and plan on future visits.

Thank you Roy for sharing your condo with us. We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was a bit cooler than normal for this time of year, but it beat the winters we have in upstate NY, There is always something to do in the area from shopping to a lot of golf courses, also we like to play disc golf, they have a 18 hole course in Fort Walton at Ferry Park, we played there quite often, which was only 16 miles away. They are putting in a new Board Walk across the road on the Gulf which is almost completed, letting you walk above the beach, nice view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Wonderful location, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the comp. umbrella and beach chairs, took full advantage of the condo's full kitchen and local restaurants. We loved going to the beach in the morning, the pool in the afternoon and watching the sunset in the evening. Close to the outlet stores and malls for plenty of shopping. Overall a very family friendly atmosphere. We will be back, thanks Roy!

Roy is the perfect host. Even though not on site physically the internet makes you feel that he is there for you. He was very helpful in helping us decide dining locations. The unit was very clean. It as just what we needed to unwind. The beach is so convenient with the walk-over and shower. The only negative thing to say is that we had to leave. The only reason that we wouldn't recommend it is that we want to keep it for ourselves. Looking ahead it is obvious that is is very popular since we wanted to book again for the summer and it is full most of the time. Roy, thank you so much for opening your home away from home to us. Roy- Thanks for allowing us to rent your condo for the week and at last minute. The ground floor was great...no elevators...Surfside has great amenities...the pool, hot tubs, fitness center, and easy access to the beach. We walked up to Pompano Joe's for dinner 1 nite...great as usual!! Whale's Tail did have a fire the week before we arrived and won't reopen for a while due to damage. We ventured to McGuire's Irish Pub, Hammerhead's at Baytowne Wharf, and Buster's right up the road. Seafood was great everywhere! Thanks again!

The condo location couldn't have been better. Access to the beach, the pool, and local attractions was very convenient. The space was perfect for the 3 of us, and everyone at the resort were friendly and helpful! I also appreciated that the laundry room was right across the hall!

Roy: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside. The condo was tastefully furnished to our satisfaction. We enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. we loved the beach and local dining and shopping. We especially liked the Black Pearl Restaurant and The Whale Tail happy hour. The highlight of our trip was the bus trip to the casinos in Biloxi and Atmore. We look forward to staying at Surfside or in Destin in the future. Thanks for everything.

Since from last year,I was looking lots of property in destin for my vacation. Finallay I found this one with good price.But I little worry about payment type,only check! But do not worry,Roy is really honest and dependable person. Clean room with enough space for my family and convenient for go to the private beach. I enjoyed 4days in destin with funs. I will stay this condo again if I go back to destin for vacation Thank You Roy!!!!!!!!!

Nice place Roy, we really enjoyed our time there. Beach chair and umbrella comp. made it possible to enjoy the beach the entire time. Surfside is a nice place I would recommend to anyone. Very desirable location on the strip.

Roy, Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay. Sorry I'm just now getting to writing this. It was my wife and my 1 year wedding anniversary. We had so much fun and hated to leave. I'm hoping we can make it a regular stay for us. The comp. beach chairs were great. I'm hoping that we'll be able to make a 2nd trip later this summer. Thanks Roy We had a wonderful stay at Destin. The ground floor worked just great for use due to our handicap. The parking for us was right out the back door, and the access to the beach could not have been any better. We will be calling you again! The beach was great and the condo too. Having never been to Destin before, staying at Surfside was a real added bonus to the beauty of the area. The accomodations and the attention to detail were great. The location was perfect! We really enjoyed the hot tubs and pool area. The beaches were beautiful and all the resort staff were friendly and helpful. The stay made us fell like we were royalty. Being on the first floor has its advantages. Loading and unloading right at the back door was a breeze and took only minutes. Thanks for your recommendation on visiting Destin and Surfside. We look forward to staying there again during summer vacation.

Roy, I would like to share our stay at Surfside Resort by saying that the weather was great and the room was perfect! We had easy access to the courts (basketball/tennis), pools, hot tubs (104f.)I loved the pool area being on the 2nd story level facing the Gulf which provided a cool breeze even in the heat of the day which I thought was superb. The sky bridge walk to the beach was nice and as we got to the other end of it, the view over looking the beach at 2nd story level provided a beautiful view of the emerald waters and the coast line! even at night with the moon lit sky, you could see for miles the sparkling lights along with the rushing sounds from the waves washing ashore. 2 of the night, fireworks were bursting in the air along the beach line (that was an added extra like putting icing on a cake). We collected a few sea shells as we strolled the sandy beach.Oh yes,the rooms lighting illumination set a romantic atmosphere at night while sipping on a glass of Chateau Souverain wine. Surfside's convenient location to shopping malls, activities and dining out was very good. To say the very least, my wife, kids and I had such a great time, we look forward to another stay at Surfside.

What a great vacation resort! This condo was close to everything, steps to the beach, spa or pool and a short distance to the Silver Sands Shopping Outlet. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the condo and the decor, which is wonderfully done. I loved the swordfish and the colorful local art. We had a wonderful stay in this condo. I especially loved eating by candlelight on the private walled terrace and the convenience of not having to wait for the elevators. I can't wait until I have the chance to come again next vacation.
