We really enjoyed staying at the condo again this year. Although there wasn't as much snow as we had hoped, we were able to ski for 3 days at Indianhead!!! The new owners of the lodge are very nice and we made good use of the pool and my daughter soaked her broken arm in the hot tub several times to gain flexibility! The new owner offered continental breakfast, but we were able to cook ourselves - eggs, ham, etc... before we went out on the slopes. Although there is limited telephone service and no cable, we appreciate the quiet and break from work and the hullabaloo of day-to-day life. We watched movies and read books. Once the lodge opens up fully, gets their liquor license it will be nice to watch football and have a cocktail over the holiday. Thanks again for your hospitality. This is turning into our home away from home.

Great condo for Skiing vacation

Our family likes to come up to the UP for Skiing and this condo is perfect. A fully-equipped kitchen gives you the opportunity to make family meals while the nice sized living room is perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. Although only a stone's throw from Powerhorn, you have access to three of the best ski hills in the UP - (Powderhorn, blackjack and Indianhead). For families who enjoy Cross country, the Wolverine trails are well-groomed and offer your choice of distance. The area also hosts several tubing hills for younger families who enjoy winter fun. This townhouse is rustic (no cable, no phone, no internet) so bring your favorite DVDs... but the lodge has a full-size indoor pool and whirlpool tub for relaxing after a long day outside. My favorite part about this is that a super Walmart is only 10 minutes away, so you can pick up groceries or the extra necesities for your stay without spending an arm and a leg. Jeff has been a perfect host and the price is right.

A group of 7 women stayed here for a relaxing and wonderful weekend together. The condo was spacious, and slept all of us comfortably. We were able to bring our own food and beverages and enjoyed time preparing and eating our meals. Although there were a lot of great restaurants and bakeries in town to choose from, too. It was a very snowy weekend, so we mostly stayed indoors by the fireplace watching movies from the large selection that was there and available to us. We had such a great time relaxing. We would have gone to the pool, but we enjoyed being lazy. It's nice that a pool is there, though. We went into the nearby towns. There are a lot of cute, unique shops and antique stores. Everyone found something to buy. Wish we would have had more time to ski. The amount of snow was incredible. We'll be back.

December, 2009. Our family of 6 stayed the weekend and really enjoyed the property. The townhome was nicely decorated for the season and there was plenty of space for our family to relax. Will return.
