As children we knew what fun it was to vacation on the Gulf Coast. As adults, my wife and I, continue that fun time relaxing at the beach. We now have a second home in the Orange Beach area. We want to share our home, so that you too, can enjoy beauty and relaxation at the beach.
Drench your senses in our beautiful Old River front condo. Be our guests in our unique and spacious second home. You will not believe how close you are to the Gulf in this private and quiet location. You will feel as if you are the only ones in Paradise.
Start your day with a beautiful sunrise view on the balcony, enjoy boat and water activities, then relax with your favorite beverage while experiencing a gorgeous sunset -- a treat like no other.
Wind Drift is one of the most beautiful spots around. With our condo comes the wonderful white sand beach - a short safe walk away, tennis courts, swimming pools, and 25 boat slips. A fantastic place for you, your kids, grandkids, and friends, to gather and enjoy a stress free vacation.
Our second home will sleep a maximum of 8, king bed in master suite, twin beds and a full size bed in second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa with a queen size bed in the living area. There is seating for four at the dining table, three at the counter and more at the patio tables, if needed. We have plenty of cooking utensils, dishes and place settings for your use. To add to the beauty of the gulf, we have installed floor to ceiling mirrors on the living room and master bedroom walls to reflect views every where you look. Spoiling you is our goal!!
Our guests are always surprised at how we seem to 'have thought of everything' to make their stay comfortable. We plan to provide you with everything you need (and hate to buy on vacation) including spices in the kitchen, plastic wrap and aluminum foil in the cabinets, paper towels and toilet paper AND everything you need for the perfect day at the beach! We provide boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and even an electric smoker grill to cook the great fish you caught fresh that day!
For those romantic evenings snuggling on the couch, lulled into deep relaxation by the water's sound ... Why not watch our HD TV and DVR. Also, WiFi access. Gulf Coast guide books that include golf, fishing, dining, shopping and lazy day activities are there for your use.

Why the Owner Chose Wind Drift
We have vacationed here most of our lives. When we got married, we knew that we wanted to live somewhere in this area. We chose the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay for permanent residence, and Orange Beach for a second home.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy being on the river side for boating, fishing, kayaking, catching hermit crabs with the grandkids, or just chilling out. The beach is great for relaxation. The pools add to the relaxation. The golfing is great. Excellent restaurants in the area with outstanding musical entertainment for all ages.
Owner's Map of Wind Drift
My wife and I married in early 2007, retired, and moved to the coast. This is a dream for us to have a second home at the beach. We have already enjoyed this place with grandkids, and what a wonderful time it was.

This place is perfect! This was our first time to stay on a "non-gulf" side and loved it. This condo gives you the best of both worlds. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats come and go, people fishing from the docks, and LOTS of dolphins playing in the river. When we wanted beach time, we crossed the highway and there was a large beach pretty much all to ourselves (next to state park). Their above description of their place is exact. I would like to add that the owners, Court & Susan, were expecially helpful to us as this was a last-minute vacation decision on our part. Then after we got here we wanted to stay longer and they accommodated us with no problem. (This was our first vacation with no kids. haha) Thanks again, Court & Susan, for your kindness!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We stayed for the months of Jan and Feb. Everything that anyone would need was provided. The decor is lovely. The condo is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having our boat docked just below the balcony and the beach just accross the street. The other property owners or guests were very pleasant and helpful. There is much to do in the Orange Beach area. The location of this property is very well situated to many resturants, shopping, movies, antiques, beaches, centrally located to Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Foley, Mobile, Dauphne, and much more. I would highly recommend this condo as a lovely place to stay and visit the coast area. The owners are so pleasant and have certainly thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

We try to make it easy for guests to come in and not have to rush immediately to the store for some essential items. Our plan is for you to enjoy your time at the coast.
