Spacious 1600 square foot single family home with golf privileges at Legends Golf and Country Club (voted best Golf and Country Club in Southwest Florida, two years in a row). “Quiet“, “peaceful“, “beautifully decorated“, “wonderful”, “great value” “wish we could stay forever” are just some of the sentiments our past guests have expressed in our guest book. Our home is at the end of a cul de sac far enough away from traffic and flying golf balls yet close enough to “cart” to the clubhouse. It features a large open “great room” floor plan opening into a large dining area with patio doors opening to the screened extended lanai. The great room features a TV w/DVD and plantation shutters. A large fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar completes the common living area. The fully furnished master bedroom features a king size bed, TV w/DVD, huge walk-in closet and an enormous bathroom with tiled shower. There are also patio doors opening directly to the lanai from the master. Twin beds in the second bedroom can be adjoined to create a queen bed. The den features French doors, a TV w/DVD as well as a sleeper sofa and writing desk. The laundry room is fully equipped with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. There’s plenty of storage, both built-in as well as dressers, armoires and cabinets in all living areas.
Included in the amenities, is a pool designated just for our patio home neighborhood. Or if you choose, you can relax at the resort style pool (with waterfall and spa) as part of the 25,000 square foot clubhouse complex. From resort style dining to poolside snacks, to cocktails after golf or tennis on the patio, the clubhouse offers all levels of service. There are over two miles of walking trails, six lighted soft-surface tennis courts, a game room, and a fully equipped fitness center. The staff at Legends always has plenty of activities if you choose to participate. As our guest, a one-time transfer fee of $250 allows you to fully enjoy all of the amenities the community has to offer. You can enjoy rounds of golf (with cart) for only $40/person, in-season, on one of the nicest private golf courses in Southwest Florida.
There is great shopping - including fantastic outlet malls, hundreds of superb restaurants, water sports and Sanibel/Captiva/Fort Myers Beach - all less than about 20 minutes from our home. Howdy! John and Kathleen welcome you to our patio home at Legends Golf and Country Club. Living in Ohio is great but playing golf in February up here requires a parka and boots! Our “getaway” at Legends offers true single family living in a resort environment. Morning coffee or evening cocktails on the screened lanai overlooking the serene cypress preserve can’t be beat! Especially when there is two feet of snow in Ohio! Because of our schedules we only get to spend a week or two in Paradise - we hope you’ll take the opportunity to enjoy the amenities and comforts of our home away from home while experiencing all that the Sunshine State has to offer!
