Why the Owner Chose Dawn Beach
I have owned property in Florida for several years, but I would get frustrated with the sometimes unpredictable weather there during the winter. In St. Maarten the weather is perfect almost all of the time; I don't even bother to check the weather reports before I go. Of course the spectacular teal water and white sand beaches were a big draw for me as well.

We stayed at this condo from Feb 20, 2011 - Feb 27th, 2011. The condo was very clean & spacious. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful fragrant flowers. The staff were very friendly & helpful in checking us into the condo. I would definitely recommend this unit for a vacation. It wasn't far from restaurants, Phillipsburg or the grocery store. The view from the large balcony looking out onto the water & across to the island of St Barts was breath taking. We were treated to a fireworks display from St Barts on our first night. The restaurants in the area had excellent meals. The beach was very nice & the water was very refreshing. It was great driving around the island checking out the other beaches.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everything you need to enjoy a vacation...wake up to the sun and a beautiful ocean view to start the day! Comfortable space, pool to cool off in after the sun and sand at the beach all day, and friendly staff. We loved it so much and can't wait to return! We enjoyed the off season weather and rates in September as well as the slower pace of the "tourist traffic". Very romantic.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this appt end Feb 2010/ beg March 2010 and can only rave about the place, including the owner and his prompt response and great pricing!! We were looking for total R&R and this condo and destination provided it all. The photos accurately reflected the rental's apperance. The hotel/condo management provided all we required. They personally came to book us into the condo and made sure we had everything we needed and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. We rented a car and you really do need one if you want to get out and about but the roads were safe and easy to traverse. We walked to the beach each day, drove to different beaches other days, and drove near and far to some great restaurants each evening. The condo's facilities are great. The area is peaceful and tranquil. At the beach you can enjoy all the amenities of the Westin Hotel including loungers and beach service. There is a hill on the way back up to the condo, and a flight of steps to the condo but hey that's no problem ... you need to burn some calories off from that great french cusine the night before. The furnishings in the condo were beautiful and the condo is well kept and maintained and let it be known I am really picky!! Great views, great destination... good attentive service when booking condo... Thanks Steve... we will return.
