This great, modern beachfront condo allows you to be on your own private beach within just 20 minutes from the Cancun airport. It is located in Palma Real, a private boutique condominium just a short walk south of the fishing village of Puerto Morelos. It is located between Playa del Carmen and Cancun in the Riviera Maya.
Puerto Morelos is a unique, quaint fishing village only about a 5 minute walk from the condo. The town square is located in front of the beach with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There are always taxis available and cost $3-4 each way. It has some of the most beautiful wide, soft sandy beaches in the Riviera Maya!
Everyday you can watch the spectacular sunrise, hear the tranquil sound of the surf and feel the constant fresh tropical ocean breeze.
Palma Real is a two year old, three story, L-shaped building located on the beach behind the port. There are no salesmen and no planes advertising parties. The pool deck contains about twenty teak lounge chairs with cushions and side tables. They sit alongside the infinity pool that also contains a twelve person heated whirlpool. The Palma Real has a 24 hour security guard with a gated entrance.
The condo has a large kitchen/living room area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities. There is a laundry room that has a washer/dryer, iron & board. The living room has comfortable furniture with a large built in cabinet that holds a queen size Murphy bed, TV and DVD player, with cable and wireless internet and an I-pod speaker base. The condo includes all linens, towels & beach towels and a safe. There are two full bathrooms with a hair dryer. The master bedroom contains a king size bed and a large built-in closet with plenty of storage. The balcony is 8’ x 28’ and holds comfortable lounge chairs and a hammock. The ocean view from the balcony is breathtaking.
In addition to complete relaxation in Puerto Morelos, the surrounding region offers incredible archaeological sites, various eco parks, championship golf and world class shopping.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We bought in Puerto Morelos because it is a quaint little fishing village, approximately a 5 minute walk from the condo. It is located between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, about two kilometers off the main highway. The town square is located on the beach with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The people are very friendly, there are traditional Mexican get togethers and fiestas in the park and we enjoy the fact that it still has a genuine mexican feel to the area as there it is not swamped with tourists and mega resorts like Cancun. There are always taxis available to take you around town or to the condo and back, they cost about $3-4 each way.

We stayed at this property from Dec 1 to 13, 2011. The condo is very nicely decorated, very well equiped, spotlessly clean (and I mean SPOTLESS), and we enjoyed the fact that we could walk to the small village but were away from the hustle and bustle. The pool and hottub were fantastic, also very clean and well maintained as was the terrace around the pool. There was a security guard in attendance from 6:00pm to 6:00am every night who took his job very seriously which was quite comforting even though in the 5 weeks we'd been in the Yucatan we'd never even come close to being uncomfortable with our safety. We did experience one problem, not with the condo itself, but something in the complex, one which was completely out of the owner's control. We sent an email to the owners and they responded immediately. They worked extremely hard to find a solution to ensure that our vacation was as enjoyable as expected and when we left on the 13th we were very satisfied and impressed with their efforts. I would definitely stay here again, especially knowing that in the unlikely event we encountered any sort of problem again the owners would respond and do everything in their power to find a solution. I would also have no problems recommending this property to family and friends.

Dear Eric and Lisa, Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful and relaxing condo. The lay-out was perfect for us and the kitchen provided everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated the games and movies on the rainy days and loved sitting out on the patio on the nice ones. The grounds we kept in beautiful shape and the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing.. and watching the waves. We came out to Mexico for a wedding held at one of the all-inclusive resorts and both times we went there, we couldn´t wait to get back to the condo and the food in P.M. We really enjoyed the restaurants and were able to try several, all of which were good. We specially liked the tacos al pastor at Taco Avenue, lo mein and spicy fish at David lau´s and the empanadas at Los Gauchos - but everywhere we ate was good, wish we could have stayed and eaten more! We also took a trip to Cobá and went snorkeling on the reef - both of which we highly recommend. Carlos helped us with almost everything we did and we very much appreciate all his ideas and his thourough orientation on the condo. Thanks again Carlos

A great place to get away. We enjoyed our honeymoon full of rest and relaxation at the pool, followed by adventures in town. The condo is exactly as pictured. The bed was very comfy, the a/c works great and the kitchen is well-appointed. The port to the north isn't pretty, but it wasn't really noisy or bothersome. The beach might as well be private and we never had to worry about finding an open pool/beach chair. The pool area was always clean and beautiful. The beach is nice as well, but I'd recommend bringing water shoes to get past the area where the surf breaks and all the sharp stuff accumulates. The citronella candles, beach coolers, games and bug spray provided were great. The only thing that could make the unit better would be a couple of bicycles for the trek into town when it's hot (getting into town was when we wished we had bikes, but getting a taxi home was always easy). Otherwise we had everything we could ask for! Carlos was super thorough and happy to give reco´s on everything from where to eat to how to cure our hangover. We're glad we made the decision to have him buy us some groceries (mostly of the liquid variety) and provide airport transport. It was all so convenient, and definitely worth it. We had a blast and would recommend the condo (and PM in general) to anyone looking for a low-key vacation!

Eric & Lisa, Great place to stay in Puerto Morelos, close to everything, yet a little more secluded than the "OTHER" side of town. We enjoyed the quiet beach and the free entertaiment on the commercial pier. We also enjoyed walking back and forth to town - trying to eat at every restaurant recommended by Carlos. We even got to like the funky shower door arrangement. Your place was everything we hoped it would be! Thanks also to Carlos - He was on time & where he said he would be at the Airport. He got the provisioning exactly right, the unit was spotless - what more could a guy do? Well, he can give you a list of restaurants to visit - pay attention & don't miss Spagatinno´s and make sure you get some tequila crema! Mike & Mary Ann Minnesota

The condo is just lovely, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Our first day there, a Sunday, was wonderful, very peaceful and relaxing. If it could have stayed like that I would have been very pleased. However Monday morning it started. Power tools, pounding, lots of noise. I had planned on a day relaxing around the pool but that was impossible. Same thing Tuesday. I asked Carlos what was going on and he told me "they have a permit for 9-5." As if that made it OK. It went on all week. Every day for our week long vacation noisy construction. They were fixing the railings in the 3rd floor balconies, obviously a planned project, planned for the 2nd week in February, the peak of high season. Why now? I asked. Why not in September when no one is here? So, my nice relaxing vacation, my week off, that I had planned for months, budgeted for, was very disappointing because no one cared enough to tell me there would be construction. Had I known, I could have changed my plans. I wouldn't stay here unless you have a money back guarantee that it will be quiet.
Owner response:We are deeply sorry that loud work was being done during this tenant stay. I completely understand how noisy work can ruin a vacation. The complex is typically peaceful and quiet. There have been a couple of weeks during the high season this year however that emergency work had to be done to keep the property safe for all. The timing of the repairs were unknown to us and we certainly would not have booked a rental during that week if we had been aware of the scheduled repair work. This has been brought to the attention of the owner’s association and we will be making every effort to get these projects scheduled for low season and for all owners to have plenty of advance notice so no one’s vacation needs to be ruined again. Again, we sincerely apologize for this!!!

GRACIAS!!! Our stay at your condo was so relaxing and we had soooo much fun!! The overall atmosphere in the village town of Puerto Morelos was so friendly, we loved going to the great restaurants and bars and talking to the locals.We also spent time in Playa del Carmen and Cancun and were always glad to come back to the peaceful condo. On another note, the condo is well equipped and it was so convenient using the washer and dryer. Carlos, your property manager was very helpful. We had an absolute blast! Dear Eric and Lisa, Thank you for the lovely stay at Palma Real. We were on our Babymoon and it provided the perfect backdrops for some much needed R&R. We had a great six days by the pool and traveling around to Playa del Carmen and Cozumel. What we were really after was rght here in Puerto Morelos.
