Our fully-equipped home is located in beautiful Cape Coral, Southwest Florida on the Rubicon Canal. It is near Fort Myers and is a short drive to Sanibel and Captiva.
It features three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a private heated pool. The home was built in 2002 and has been newly furnished and updated with new paint and tropical decor. Each bedroom has luxurious memory foam beds, 100% modal linens and an LCD HDTV with digital cable.
The home is over 1900 square feet with tile throughout. High ceilings add to the spacious feeling of the home.
The Master bedroom offers a King sized bed, 32" LCD TV, walk-in closet, private bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and private linen closet.
The Second bedroom offers a Queen sized bed, generous closet, dresser and 32" LCD TV.
The Third bedroom offers (2) Twin sized beds, generous closet and LCD TV/DVD Combo.
The Family Room features a comfortable love seat and queen sized sleeper sofa. There is a 47" LCD HDTV with a DVD player and surround sound. Bring your iPod as the sound system has an iPod connection. There is a Playstation II with plenty of games. An extensive selection of DVDs is also available. Bring your laptop as there is free high-speed wireless internet. A printer is available for your use.
The large lanai offers outside dining, a Gas BBQ grill and another TV. The pool has electric and solar heat and offers four lounge chairs, premium pool floats and toys. The dock offers yet another outside dining area.
The boat and lift are not available at this time.

As with many others in the Cape Coral area, the extreme cold weather in January 2010 took a toll on some of our landscaping. We have replaced most of it and now we wait for mother nature to do her job!

We all loved our stay at your house. It's so beautiful! We enjoyed the beach and fishing on the pier. The pool was a lot of fun and we loved the rafts. There was a great movie selection.

Great home --- perfect weather --- attended four ballgames, went to the beach and took many nature walks. Little owls were nesting. We had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with our family. Now we have to go back home to the cold and snow of Minnesota.

My wife and I recently spent time at Villa Rubicon and were extremely pleased with everything about the home and property. The home was well cared for, beautifully decorated and made us feel comfortable immediately when we walked through the door. It included everything one would need to have a perfect vacation. The property is perfectly groomed, the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing while the dock was clean and ready for picnicking or fishing. We have rented homes several times before and this was BY FAR the best home we have ever rented. The owner was easy to work with and we certainly plan to return again as soon as possible!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is the first time renting a house and staying in one place for an extended period of time. It was great. Our friends and we enjoyed being at the house. The house is as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures. The house is immaculate. It is well cared for inside and out. With the three bedrooms we were able to have guests for a long week-end. We had plenty of room. The view of the canal was very relaxing. The house is near many places for shopping. There are lovely beaches nearby. We found somewhere to go almost every day. Check the “green book” for ideas and brochures for many good restaurants. We were very fortunate with the weather. We had temperatures in the high 70’s to high 80’s all month. We didn’t need to have the pool heater on. The sun did a fine job warming the water. Jennifer was terrific to work with. She was very helpful when answering my questions. She did a great job putting together the “green book” . There is a lot of helpful information in it. I feel like I have a new friend. We all hope to be able to go back to Villa Rubicon in the future.
