What a lovely home!!! So well equipped and very clean! We loved our evenings on the lanai cooking dinner on the grill with the view of the canal!!! Close to so much! Beautiful golf just minutes away!! Lou and Debbie Toledo Ohio

Jennifer was so helpful and patient while we expressed interest but had not nailed down our travel dates. And when we arrived, we very impressed by her house. Nice location, very clean, spacious and comfortable. We hope to stay again. Thanks Jennifer!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Rubicon! What a great place to vacation. The house was terrific: great kitchen (nice dishes, good cookware and stove, sharp knives!), comfortable furniture (love the memory foam mattress!), good selection of DVD movies to watch on nice TV/surround sound set up, great pool and outdoor furniture. Location is great too, just minutes from WalMart, Publix and a lot of great restaurants. Thank you, Jennifer and Mark for a great place to get away from winter!

We have found this home most enjoyeable and included all the amenities that anyone would ever required. Any minor were dealt with immediatly and efficiently. The proximity to beaches, golf courses and shopping made it very easy to get around. The owners showed their concerned interest in anything asked of them. We would recommend this vacation paradise to anyone.

Recommended for: Age 55+

Home is very tastefull decorated, bedding/linen are of very high quality, as are all kitchen appliances and equipment. Beds are firm and comfortable. Rooms are bright and airy. Lanai is peaceful place to relax and watch boats go by on canal. Very well maintained home. Owner very accomodating when I had questions, always replied promptly. Hope to be able to spend another month or so at home next year.

Thank you for letting us enjoy your house. We loved the backyard, especially the pool and lanai. The TV out there is a great extra. We spent 90% of our time out there. The decor was very nice and inviting. We would love to come back. Thanks again!

We all loved our stay at your house. It's so beautiful! We enjoyed the beach and fishing on the pier. The pool was a lot of fun and we loved the rafts. There was a great movie selection.

My wife and I recently spent time at Villa Rubicon and were extremely pleased with everything about the home and property. The home was well cared for, beautifully decorated and made us feel comfortable immediately when we walked through the door. It included everything one would need to have a perfect vacation. The property is perfectly groomed, the pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing while the dock was clean and ready for picnicking or fishing. We have rented homes several times before and this was BY FAR the best home we have ever rented. The owner was easy to work with and we certainly plan to return again as soon as possible!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great home --- perfect weather --- attended four ballgames, went to the beach and took many nature walks. Little owls were nesting. We had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home with our family. Now we have to go back home to the cold and snow of Minnesota.

Fabulous month in Villa Rubicon

This is the first time renting a house and staying in one place for an extended period of time. It was great. Our friends and we enjoyed being at the house. The house is as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures. The house is immaculate. It is well cared for inside and out. With the three bedrooms we were able to have guests for a long week-end. We had plenty of room. The view of the canal was very relaxing. The house is near many places for shopping. There are lovely beaches nearby. We found somewhere to go almost every day. Check the “green book” for ideas and brochures for many good restaurants. We were very fortunate with the weather. We had temperatures in the high 70’s to high 80’s all month. We didn’t need to have the pool heater on. The sun did a fine job warming the water. Jennifer was terrific to work with. She was very helpful when answering my questions. She did a great job putting together the “green book” . There is a lot of helpful information in it. I feel like I have a new friend. We all hope to be able to go back to Villa Rubicon in the future.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We are a retirement age couple with a business we love. But we wanted a get-away for an anniversary celebration, and Villa Rubicon was the perfect place. The home is very spacious and comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. We needed a dog-friendly rental, and our two Labradoodles loved lying in the sun by the pool. Another couple joined us for a few days, and they thought the place was great too. We used to live in Cape Coral, so we know what the area has to offer, but we also enjoyed just hanging out by the pool, reading, and swimming. Since the air temperature was in the high 60's while we were there, the fact that the pool was heated, was great. We kept it covered when not in it, and when the sun wasn't directly on it, and we only used $18 over the $25 allowed for electricity and probably some of that was due to the fact that I washed and dried towels a few times. We would definitely consider coming back to the Villa Rubicon. Jennifer, the owner, was very helpful with answering all our questions before our stay. The information booklet in the home had good suggestions for restaurants. We were glad to get back to Andy's Island Seafood in Matlacha for fresh shrimp for a pasta dish. Their crab cakes are the best ever! Our friend is a real connoisseur of crab cakes, and he said he'd never tasted better.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Have so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. First time we have tried your type of accommodations. Everything was first rate. Very clean, comfortable and user friendly. Guest info book was very helpful. The pool was perfect and we fished off of the dock. Can't wait to come back. We think you thought of everything!!

Our stay at Villa Rubicon was very enjoyable. Having stayed at two other homes in Cape Coral, we found Villa Rubicon to be our favorite of the three. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The Playstation II entertained the kids while not in the pool. Jennifer Toebe was informative, easy to contact and provided quick responses to our emails. I would definitely stay at Villa Rubicon in the future.

We had a very cold month for vacationing this past January...the neighbors were warm and friendly though and we enjoyed meeting them. Your home is in a good location. Every imaginable convenience, necessity and luxury were there, just like being home. We had a nice time despite the weather...thank you for sharing your home with us.

Dear Homeowners: I would like to thank you for opening your home to us. Your decorative taste is very nice. Some of the amenities made me feel just like my own home, from your dish patterns to ceiling fans throughout. Very nice to have patio chairs and table as well as a screened pool.
