Our home is located just steps from the beach and 3 blocks from downtown Cannon Beach. Perfect spot to set up your site at the beach for the day and run back and forth to the house for food or breaks. Eat dinner in the well equiped kitchen and go watch the sun set and make s'mores at the beach. This is a 4 bedroom 1 .5 bath home. 3 of the bedrooms are located upstairs with a 1/2 bath and the 4th bedroom is located downstairs. Full bath is located downstairs with a shower/bath combo. Brand new washer/dryer (1-1-11) are located downstairs in the laundry room. Kitchen comes complete with dishwasher,microwave and coffee maker. Electric stove & oven in the kitchen or BBQ on the back deck (summer only) coal BBQ. Large built in table can seat 8 nicely. Living room has wood fireplace with TV/DVD and stereo.
Small fenced in back yard-great spot to put your bikes, beach toys, rinse the sand off your feet or just relax.
This is a very comfortable-quaint beach house. Families come back every year and make lasting memories

My family and friends stayed at this beach home over a long Thanksgiving weekend. There was 8 of us total including 3 kids and 2 dogs! Kitchen was well equiped to do our Thanksgiving meal and all were able to sit down and enjoy it. Kitchen is equiped with all supplies and kitchen ware that was needed. The living room was very comfortable to play games-chat and enjoy the wood fire since it was cold and sometimes rainy. The location of this home was perfect to catch the sunbreaks on the beach with the kids and the dogs. Very comfortable-tidy-authentic beach home. Will definatly come back! Note- plenty of hot water for all-never ran out. There is a very nice new washer and dryer with all supplies there to do the linens.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house is great for a family and the location is perfect regarding close to the beach and town. The price is reasonable, but keep in mind there is a long list of items to be cleaned and all the laundry must be done. Some parts are a bit dated, but again you can relax just enjoy.
Owner response:We do have a housekeeper that cleans after your stay. We do require that all laundry is done as we usually have other clients coming in the same day. New washer & dryer and all supplies are provided.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Previous comment was correct, they need new living room furniture and some updating, they only have one window that opens downstairs. A guest house is right off the back of the house and a guest stayed a night while we were there. It was fine but would have been nice to be notified of the stay. The washer and dryer are pretty old and beat up your clothes! Small water heater for the number of guests allowed. One final note, the blinds are pretty heavy wood blinds and when I tried to open one the last day of our stay, it broken in half and fell down. Unfortunately the owner kept $100 saying we damaged it, pretty petty and when I spoke to him he was rather rude. The actual person we rented from, not the owner was fine to deal.
Owner response:Wicker furniture is in the living room-have found that this is best with all the sand and children jumping on furniture-plenty of seating for 8 plus pillows for the floor. This house was built in the 30s and is a beach cottage but very clean and comfortable. UPDATE: ALL windows have been replaced with vinyl windows and are all in working order. This client never told me about the washer and dryer. UPDATE:Have just had a NEW washer and dryer November 2010 installled. Guest house is only used by THE OWNER-we DID let the client know and were only there les then 10 hours during this guests last day. Totally seprate entrances and accesses. We don't even use the driveway. Blind cost us over $300 to replace-only kept less then half the cost to replace. We have rented our beach home for many years and very rarley hold any of the deposit. We take pride in offering our home to families to create lasting memories. Please feel free to also contact the Cannon Beach Chamber to ask if there has ever been any complaints aganst us.

Clean and tidy rental, just a few steps to the beach, and walkable to downtown Cannon Beach. House is older, but in great condition. Living room furniture is a bit stiff for lounging, but certainly adequate. Kitchen eating nook seats a larger group, and the kitchen itself is nicely supplied. We had a nice visit, and were comfortable with 8 in our group, plus some daytime drop-in friends.
