The historic "Camp Como" is now the beautifully restored 1910 Victorian Como Estate (~2500sf), located on 1.6 private river-front acres abutting the Bohemian Grove. On the upper level, the double living room offers two seating areas and opens to the main deck. The kitchen also opens to the deck and has eat-in dining. Off a short hallway from the living room, there is a master bedroom with bathroom, another bedroom and a second bathroom. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms (one has no privacy from the stairway or the bedroom across the stairway) and an exit to the rear yard. A short distance from the main house is a charming rustic cottage built into a massive redwood stump; this cottage has its own deck, but no bathroom. Steps lead from the main deck to the rear yard and large lawn. From the yard, there's a path to the river. At the side of the house, there's a deck with hot tub and a cabana. A short path leads up to a seating area in the garden.

"We stayed at the Como Estate for my little birthday getaway and everyone was thrilled with the beauty and location of the property. Not only was there ample space for us all to gather around the bbq, there are so many beautiful places to go for a quiet moment alone. The gardens, the beach, the house, the fireplace, the bbq (we ate a lot!) and the kayaking all contributed to a perfect weekend of rest and relaxation. Everyone wants it to be the location of next year's birthday celebration. My mom and dad came by for a few hours on Saturday afternoon and within minutes my mom was laying out plans to have our next family reunion there. Fantastic, fantastic place!"
