Set in the picturesque village of Glengarriff in West Cork. This apartment is spectacularly located on the water's edge adjacent to the Eccles Hotel. The apartment consists of two bedrooms with a further large open plan loft with three further beds which is ideal for children. The apartment, which is south facing is bright and spacious and has been modernized amidst the old original beams.
The apartment has a spectacular view over Glengarriff's inner harbour and is approximately 100 meters from the water's edge. Glengarriff is in an ideal location for touring West Cork and Killarney, Cork are but an hour and a half away.
Garnish Island is a beautiful island with spectacular Italian gardens, and old Martello Tower etc. It is a five minute boat ride which can be got 200m from the apartment. This island is home to many exotic plants due to the mild nature of the climate of this part of the country due to the influence of the Gulf Stream.

Property was all we expected and more. It was comfortable, well maintained, warm and inviting. The view was too beautiful......paradise. Location is great, walk to town and pubs, restaurants and music. Two great golf courses nearby and much to do for all. We stayed a month and found it hard to leave! Owners were gracious, accomodating and beyond nice. We hope to visit agaian next year.

My family had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week this past August. I have to say it was the hi lite of our three week visit to Ireland. The apartment is spacious,bright and immaculate. It served our every needs. The view of Glengarriff Bay is spectacular and the location can't be beat. It's a short walk to the charming shops and pubs of Glengarriff and a short drive into Bantry where the large grocery store is located. Dont' miss exploring the Beara Peninsula. And check out the seals sunning themselves on the rocks in the bay. You will not be dissapointed if you choose to stay here. I highly reccomend it!
