  We had an incredible month stay in this unit. Without any exceptions, this property is exactly as described and pictured. The condo was spotless, so on our arrival, we virtually unpacked and went to the beach. It was just so easy to settle in. We were impressed with how open and airy the condo felt due to windows on three sides of the unit. First and foremost, you could not ask for a more professional property manager to deal with. Our e-mails were answered immediately. There never was a wait time for a response to any of our questions. We highly recommend renting this property for a great stay in Sandestin. .

  First, the property manager was reliable and gave great advice thru email etc. which frankly, is one of the most important aspects in rentals that I look for because I know that they care about the property and their clients. This was evident by an email from her prior to our arrival letting us know that we could check in early because the unit was ready. (Little things like this really make a difference.) The unit was exactly as described and I loved the view because you get the palm trees, pool, and ocean in your view from the 5th floor. This property (Westwinds) is the most lush and desirable in Sandestin because it bookends the westside of all of the Sandestin properties. This is important because the beach properties to the west are private homes which allows you to get away from the crowds if you so desire. (this was very important during our stay during the 4th---very crowded). Also, during your stay, take advantage of going east on 98 (Publix and Walmart just a couple miles away and avoid Destin traffic). This listing was a great VRBO experience for our family because the property was accurately represented (We feel exceeded) our expectations. Additionally, add an owner and property manager that cares about your business and you get a great vacation experience!

  Wow, what a great vacation. Our condo was absolutely wonderful with views of the beach from each bedroom. I know a lot of people say they don't care so much about the room they stay in while on vacation as long as it's clean because they are there for the beach. Well I care about the room and it could not have been better.

  My family of five (kids aged 18 months, 4 and 5) had an absolutely amazing time in Sandestin. I spent hours researching and finally decided on this condo. The condo was beyond perfect and comfortable for us. I was worried having a toddler in someone else's home, but it was really quite perfect for us- the condo was clean and nicely decorated and pretty childproof! It looked much like the pictures- but the pictures couldn't capture the relaxation we felt on our vacation! We ate breakfast on the patio overlooking the gulf and pool every morning. The kiddie pool was perfect for our little one and the big pool was full of playing kids. It was nice to be able to run upstairs for drinks and snacks or a quick wardrobe change. The food near the pool was pretty expensive- so we just brought our own. The location was perfect with many places to eat and stores nearby. The beach was beautiful, we spent hours making sandcastles. No need to bring your own beach stuff, the stuff in the condo was great! We went to the wharf a couple of times with the kids and had a nice stroll and people watched. The playground was fun. The food there was pretty pricy, but it was cute and there was something to do every night if we wanted. Lynn was great, very professional and easy to contact. I didn't want to leave. It was an awesome family vacation. I am ready to come again next year and I would not change a thing!

  WE spent a week in May. Very clean, excellent view; can see various views around Sandestin from points in condo; easy access. Lynn was very accessible & helpful.

  We spent 6 wonderful nights in this property. It was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, wonderful views. Can't begin to say enough good things about it. Had a fabulous stay and really hated to leave, will definately return.

  Great time! Pictures do not do condo justice. Beach was great and less crowded than most of our previous destinations. Pool is larger than any others we saw in the area. Great place to go on a family bike ride if you rent or bring bikes. Wife and kids are already asking me when we are returning.

  Back on the rental program after a year off, this unit is even better than before, all new carpeting, and great new furniture in the living room, new paint job as well. This unit has amazing views and the rental manager is always there to assist in any way. You will love this location and all the amenities that Westwinds has to offer, the pool is gorgeous, and the kiddle pool is a great addition for our little ones. The views of the resort and the gulf from the three sets of sliding doors are amazing from the 5th floor. Free wi-fi is also a big plus. The owner provides free beach umbrellas and chairs. Great condo!

  My family and girls (ages 15, 10) stayed in this condo the third week of June. The condo was great and was described perfectly. Very well kept/clean with no issues what so ever. Nice and private end unit with quick access to pool and beach. Appliances very nice and worked great. Will look forward to staying again in this unit.

  We had a great vacation and the condo was exactly as described. Plenty of room and excellent views. Our trip was the 1st week of June so we encountered "June Grass" in the ocean so stayed by the pool for 2 days. Will stay at the same location on return visit. The location was great and visited Baytowne Wharf 2 nights. Close to shopping and grocury stores.
